Thank you for this wonderful stay! The guest house is lovingly furnished, with great attention to detail and absolutely clean. Everything you need is there, and as a special highlight, there is even a hot pot to relax with a fantastic view. The location is perfect for exploring the area around Borgarnes. Whether nature, sights or small excursions, everything is easily accessible. I felt completely at ease. The hostess was also very likeable, responded quickly, clearly and kindly to all questions, in German and English. I met her briefly and got the impression of a very warm, helpful person. I would stay here again at any time and can recommend this guest house one hundred percent!

We loved the place! The big windows, the great view into the distance. You can tell that someone enjoys decorating. The house is very "Aurora-friendly", all light outside can be turned off. We would rent this house again immediately if in the area!

We had a magical time at Sabrina’s cabin! Sabrina was incredibly helpful, kind, and responsive. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed as well as close to many sights. We saw the northern lights from the cabin our first night! Unforgettable :) Book it!!!

We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay at this beautiful cabin in Borganes! It was a great location for us to be able to spend a full day on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula! The cabin was very clean and cozy and the host was very welcoming! They had a lot of recommendations for the area that was much appreciated. We would recommend this cabin to other travelers!

This lovely summer home is in an amazing location with rugged mountains right behind the house. We enjoyed exploring this area, and loved all the birds in the area. The house and kitchen were well equipped. The porch on the table was a nice place to enjoy a late breakfast. The house was just right for our family for our explorations of the Snaefellness peninsula.

This was one of the highlights of our Iceland trip - natural beauty and peaceful setting combined with luxury amenities. Super responsive host and every consideration made for our convenience and best experience. Top notch host and vacation home. Thank you, Heidrun and family!

Amazing secluded house! Had everything we needed and wish we could have stayed longer.

Location is 10 minutes from groceries and restaurants. Excellent location to base from to explore the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Bedrooms are small but adequate. Hot tub was a welcome amenity to relax in after a long day of hiking and site seeing. Had a great time!

Over the top effort to make the home lovely, comfortable, and packed with every imaginable kitchen appliance, cooking utensil, pots & pans, and dinnerware, Netflix, Prime video and much more.

Gudny's place was amazing and the photos didn't do it justice. My family of 5 were very comfortable. We loved the updated bathroom and use of the hot tub.

Great location and very comfortable.

Absolutely stunning location. The geothermal hot-tub was amazing and very nice on the cold nights. We rented one of the cabins and slept well… there are Velcro window coverings located in the closet which were very helpful as there is almost 24 hr sunlight in June.

Beautiful wooden little house. Very nice with everything you need. We were very comfortable and felt right at home. Surrounded by a beautiful environment, we saw the horses from afar. Due to the bad weather, we could not see them more or walk, but if we have the opportunity, we will return to do so. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at the summer house. We were in a great location to see so many wonderful areas in the northwestern parts of Iceland. The nearby town has everything you need. The house was beautiful and clean. The hot tub was wonderful as were the surroundings. There was a lovely garden and flowers which made it very relaxing. And, unlike many places you will find in I eland, there were many mature trees. Really a wonderful experience. I would recommend it strongly for families with three or fewer children.

Hvammur cottage was a great stop on our journey in the area. It had all the needed amenities and was described and shown accurately.

Clean, simple accommodation. Very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful surroundings, far away from the hustle and bustle with lots of nature. We felt comfortable.

The hot tub did not work the first day but the host was quick to help make it work. Not the biggest kitchen but a grill makes up for it. Beautiful location.

We stayed at the cottage for Easter weekend and were extremely happy with everything. The cottage was great in every way — spacious and tidy, with tons of space for the whole family. It was especially nice to have the guesthouse. The hot tub was wonderful – perfect after a day of hiking and to enjoy quiet evenings under the stars. Everything was there that we needed, and the communication with the owner was very good and easy. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this cottage!

Quiet and peaceful summer house next to a sweet horse farm. Very comfortable beds and homey atmosphere. Green grass as far as the eye can see. I wish I were there right now!

The cottage itself was beautiful and peaceful, providing a serene escape after our days exploring West Iceland. Its location was ideal as a base for our adventures, allowing us to easily visit all the stunning sights in the region. We particularly appreciated the tranquility of the surroundings; it was so quiet and relaxing. The host was also very responsive. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped place to stay while exploring West Iceland. We'd love to return someday!
