Holiday rentals with a patio in Hybla Valley

We loved the home and everything about it! It was just as described and in a calm, peaceful neighborhood. Great parking out front and easy access to get inside! The home has everything we needed with very comfortable bedding and furniture!

I stayed here while visiting a friend in DC, and the apartment itself was exactly my speed: comfortable, no-fuss, in a classic 1950s building, and a perfect view of the Capitol ( the balcony was perfect for morning-coffee contemplation). Everything was clean and as expected (ie: the WiFi and A/C saved my life). The free parking spot was also a major W against the hellscape of DC street parking. The host was genuinely the best. Every little question I had was answered kindly, which made the stay EASY. Also, having access to the gym was a nice touch (OK I mostly stared at the treadmill and called that cardio). Anyway, If you’re looking for something simple, well-located, with a direct window into DC, this is your spot. I’d absolutely stay here again.

We loved this place. It was clean and comfortable. It looked just like the pictures, although I might add that the master suite was actually larger and nicer than I anticipated. There were lots of little extras like toothpaste and k cup pods, even cards to use the public transportation. Even the roll away cot had a comfortable mattress. Sharisse was wonderful with communication and answered questions right away. Check out tasks were very minimal. I could probably go on, but overall this was just a great place to stay while we explored DC!

My wife and I stayed at Amy’s place for roughly a week while we moved into NVA. Her place was excellent and at a convenient location - short drive to the metro, lots of restaurants and shops nearby, and I really liked the peace of the woods behind the house. We definitely recommend staying here. Amy and was very proactive with offering assistance and recommendations, the apartment was clean and spacious, nice kitchen, and the bed was comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved staying here! Such a peaceful and beautiful neighborhood. We were able to walk to and from the zoo so easily which was perfect for us. The driving distance to go sightsee in D.C. was not bad either and the street parking was very convenient. Chris was always reachable in case we had any questions. Definitely would rebook here again!

The owner of the establishment did a good job of establishing and furnishing a pleasant place to temporary stay. The owner gave us the ability to park for free; which is a substantial plus in NW DC. Other than trying to get there and beat the incoming storms, my wife and I had no objections to their family's hospitality. My wife was satisfied with the location in proximity to locations to where she wanted to explore and go in and around DC via Metro and other forms of mass transit.

Marvin was an amazing host more than accommodating, super helpful and the place was sensational genuinely felt at home whilst myself and my dad stayed here lots of amazing recommendations. thank you Marvin !

Five stars. Great and communicative host, quality amenities, beautiful landscaping, and the in house gym was perfect for a late night workout. Ample parking and conveniently close to the city center.

We loved Heather and Axle’s Cozy House in Alexandria, Virginia. The name fits the house! It has a loving welcome feeling to it. You feel like it’s a home away from home!Heather and Axle were quick to respond to our questions. We went into Washington DC to visit a few museums that were on our bucket list. Heather and Axle recommended a list of restaurants. They did not steer us wrong. The food was amazing! We loved our stay so much we stayed an extra day! Highly recommend this wonderful home!

What a great air bnb! Kristine has a gem in old town Alexandria! It’s in a perfect location and while parking can be a little tricky, we lucked out the entire weekend and never had to pay for it. This place was great for our family, even with 2 young ones! My husband and I loved drinking wine on the rooftop patio once our kids were asleep. I would 100% re-rent this home if we are ever in Alexandria again.

Place was perfect for what we needed. Pictures don’t do it justice, much more spacious than I thought it was gonna be.

I am local Alexandrian and used this AirBnB for my wedding weekend at the Torpedo Factory. I have no regrets choosing this place over joining one of our hotel blocks at either the Alexandrian or Hotel Indigo (which don’t have presidential suites). The home and furniture are beautiful and I can’t wait to see my wedding photos. It was great for a bridesmaid sleepover! There was plenty of space for 3 makeup artists to do their work all at once. The only random tip I would give is that the neighbors are definitely on the nosy side. They were staring at us from the middle of the street and even blocked our photographer crew for a moment when we tried to exit the house. 😂 I really appreciate Collin and Laurie giving us an extra hour for checkout since the groom and I had a late night visit to Taco Bell nearby and needed the extra sleep this morning. Laurie and Collin were excellent with communication

We just got back from Jackie's Place! The home was beautifully decorated and clean. It is private, but also close to the best that Alexandria has to offer! We loved walking to coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. We were there to visit colleges for my son and were surprised how close we were to DC and Georgetown. Having the parking spot was also great. We could just leave the car and walk everywhere. Thank you for a great stay!

The place was very clean and welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking and snacks and other personal care items were offered! Place was spotless and in a quiet area, very easy to find. Sosena’s was extremely responsive and provided me with local recommendations! Also the beds were comfortable!

This was a wonderful stay. I loved how they communicated. Very informative. I was in town for multiple events and the furthest i traveled was 12 min. The location is amazing. Compact amenities. Definitely recommend

Celia was one of the most accommodating hosts that I have encountered. She allowed an early check-in and late checkout. She had apples, bananas and nuts for snacks in addition to coffee beans and even a couple of containers of milk, so I didn’t have to run out for coffee. The space is in a historic house in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. It was quiet and there was a nice, private porch outback, which was a great spot for reading. The neighborhood itself is lovely with well maintained yards. A Metro station is about 1/2 mile away which allows easy access to all parts of DC. We were so happy with the accommodations, so I highly recommended Celia’s place.

Me and my husband had a truly fantastic stay here at the Jewelbox. It is in a very sweet neighborhood that is the perfect walking distance from E-bikes, a park, multiple bus stops, a gas station, and convenience stores. Each one of the hosts on this stay made me feel incredibly comfortable to say if I needed ANYTHING!! They put effort into making it very easy to find where to park, and took previous feedback to make things even better than before. I seriously loved the stay here and WILL BE returning⭐️

Katie’s place was exceptional. It was spotless, stylish, and felt newly renovated. You truly can’t beat the location, right in the heart of Leesburg, yet peacefully tucked away on a quiet, charming street. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large, the kitchen was modern and has everything you need, and parking was a breeze. Every detail made for a relaxing stay. I highly recommend Katie’s place for anyone visiting the area.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, well-designed, and very comfortable — it truly felt like a home away from home. The self check-in with a simple access code was super convenient and made everything easy from the start. The location is amazing — close to all the main tourist spots in Washington, DC. We were just minutes away from the National Mall, museums, monuments, and great places to eat. It was the perfect base for exploring the city. The host was kind, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Fast Wi-Fi, comfy beds, and a quiet, safe neighborhood made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting DC and would love to stay again!

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again. Thank you Sean, Megan and Loren for all your helpfulness and a lovely stay!

This was my first Airbnb experience and it was exceptional! The host communicated very well and was very responsive. The condo was very clean and the location was great as it was super close to great restaurants and local shops. I would definitely rent again!

Israel’s place is a must stay while in DC. I wish I could gate keep it for myself lol. It’s exactly as described in photos. Perfect location in the Navy Yard and walkable to so many places. Each day I was able to walk to Orangetheory and SolidCore to workout and found a cute coffee shop along the way. I think the only thing I disliked was the firmness of the mattress but this will differ for everyone. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe. Responsiveness, location, cleanliness, check-in, were all on point. Additionally really appreciated Israel’s flexibility as a host. I was supposed to stay in December but due to a last minute emergency I needed to change my reservation literally hours before. Last minute travel changes with flight, accommodation, etc can be hectic but Israel helped make this part easy for me. Overall, great experience and will definitely be staying here again!
