Beachfront holiday rentals in Icaria

Das kleine Steinhaus liegt direkt am Meer. Die Terrasse ist wunderschön zum verweilen. Wir waren im Mai da - es sind circa zwei Autos am Tag hinter dem Haus vorbeigefahren - ansonsten nur Meeresrauschen und Vogelgezwitscher. Die Unterkunft ist urig, kuschelig und gemütlich. Wenn man in absoluter Ruhe und Zurückgezogenheit seinen Urlaub verbringen will - dann ist das die richtige Wahl. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Außerdem hatten wir das Glück regelmäßigen Besuch einer roten Katzendame zu bekommen. Diese hat sich sehr respektvoll verhalten, hat sich aber über kleinere Häppchen sehr gefreut. Wir haben einen Fress- und Wassernapf besorgt die gerne auch in Zukunft verwendet werden dürfen. Bitte daran denken vor Ankunft einzukaufen - der nächste Supermarkt ist in der nächsten Ortschaft. Außerdem möchten wir zwei Restaurants empfehlen - erstens Arodou in Xilosirtis und Cafe on the Island in Magganitis. Probiert im Cafe den Käse mit Honig, wunderbare Tzatziki und Tsipouro (mit Vorsicht).

I visited This place in the end of October with mu 3 kids. It was absolutely fantastic. Nice and quiet. I went swimming, running and took a lot if walks to town for nice meals, pastries and groceries. My kids gad a fantastic time snorkeling and petting cats. Manos and his cousin where involved and pro-active with helping wherever they could. Thank u soo much!! And thank you Fourni island..

Ein ganz besonderes Stückchen Erde, ein ruhiger schöner Ort zum Relaxen. Wir sind verliebt in dieses Haus, die Terrasse, die Katzen, die Aussicht. Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit

We booked the same day we arrived, Kleopatra had just cleaned when we parked and told her that we just arrived. She waited waving her hand in front of the entrance to the complex of several flats while I walked down the street in the direction she had told me. In the beginning there wasn´t any hot water, but when I sent her a message, immediately the heater was turned on. She also brought me a hair dryer. The appartment is nice, luminous and tidy, with a small balcony with a table an two chairs to enjoy the view on the Marina. The kitchen is basic, but enough. You´ll find salt, but will have to achieve the rest in the nearby supermarket. Still, a very good price-service relation, quite unbeatable on Samos, I guess. Thank you, Kleopatra, for our pleasant stay.

Beautiful location and excellent food. Loved the homemade croissants and the views from the cliff side. Easy access to great swimming and super nice folks! The grocery store is a 5 minute walk and lots of restaurant options are nearby.

My family and I stayed 4 nights at this cosy and beautiful place. We enjoyed the tranquility of the outdoor places, had a swim at the small local beach and waked to the town for dinners. Stamos was always easy to reach and helped us with a recommendation for a bicycle shop. We would definitely come backe here again, thank you!

An erster Stelle die grandiose Lage mit beeindruckender Aussicht, sehr ruhig, viel grün, einfacher check-in mit Schlüssel-safe, das Haus sehr sauber, die Küche super ausgestattet (überwältigende Willkommens- Kühlschrank- Fülle mit Obst, Gemüse, Wasser, Wein, Marmelade, eine große Flasche sehr leckeres Olivenöl) Es gibt einen steilen Fußweg zum Meer(ca. 7-10 Min), am Strand dort waren wir immer alleine. Ormos, der nächste Ort mit kleinem Supermarkt ca. 45 Min. am Meer zu laufen. Sehr gute Tavernen und eine kleine Bäckerei sind dort zu finden. Ich würde unbedingt einen Roller oder ein Auto empfehlen. Falls Ihr nachts draußen barfuß lauft, aufpassen wegen Scorpionen, die hin und wieder den Weg kreuzen. Ich kann das Cottage auf jeden Fall empfehlen, wir hatten eine sehr gute Zeit dort.

Lillian has the most incredible villa next to a pool overlooking the coast with small beach and farm land. The private balcony was the perfect touch for morning sunrise. Everything was very clean and easy to use. About 20 minute walk to town but so worth it with the views and one of a kind pictures. The restaurant was so amazing with wonderful customer service and even better sea views !! Unforgettable summer experiences.

This is the place for families to stay on Ikaria. Spacious kitchen diner, 3 bedrooms and incredible outside space. The pool is excellent, with endless views of the Aegean sea, and occasional glimpses of distant Cycladic islands. The location is also tremendous, a very short walk down to a lovely little beach with good snorkelling around the rocky coast. Nanouras is a very quiet hamlet with no shop or taverna, so it's peaceful and easy to park. It's only a short drive (or bike ride) up the coast to Nas or Armenistis for bars, restaurants and mini markets. There is also a fairly new (paved) road up to the interior villages very nearby, which are well worth visiting. Christos the host and his family were responsive, friendly and helpful. His mother made us some pasta one night! Altogether a complete holiday rental, thoroughly recommended on every level.

This is a little gem of a place! A little bohemian and relaxing with beautiful views of both sea & mountain. The pool is fabulous but as the lovely beach is a 5 minute walk you are spoiled for choice. The bathroom was the only slight issue, clean & adequate but very small. I will definitely be coming back.

Perfect place to stay in Armenistis, ikaria.

Antonis und seine Familie sind freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber, auch die Haushälterin war sehr freundlich und diskret. Die Anlage erscheint live sogar schöner als auf den Bildern, sie ist sehr ruhig gelegen, mehrere kleine Häuser in einem gepflegten Garten mit vielen Olivenbäumen. Alles war perfekt sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden gerne wiederkommen.

Antonis’s place was great — super clean and peaceful. We had an amazing time. I have no words for the view — it was simply fascinating. We also loved the private beach, which was just a 2-minute walk from the house. The pool was always clean, and the house was cleaned every day. Additionally, there were plenty of good restaurants and bars just 15 minutes away by car. We hope to visit Limnionas again next year. Thank you for everything. 🥳🌸

Hjälpsam personal och härlig saltvattenpool. Välstädade rum och fin flexibilitet då vi behövde lite extra service för vårt barn. Vi hade en avskild liten terrass med utsikt över havet. Rekommenderas!

Wir haben wunderbare Tage in Karkinagri verbracht. Der Ort liegt abseits an der Südwestküste von Ikaria, doch das war uns bewusst und da wir das ursprüngliche Leben in einem ikarischen Dorf erleben wollten, waren wir genau richtig. Das Rauschen des Meeres hat uns vom Morgen bis in den Schlaf begleitet. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Küche tiptop ausgestattet. Unser Leben spielte sich nur draußen ab - vom Frühstück bis zum Sundowner. Es gibt einen wunderschönen Strand ca. 40 Minuten zu Fuß entlang der Küste aber auch vor dem Haus ist ein Sprung ins tiefblaue Meer möglich. Zu weiteren wunderschönen Stränden bei Nas oder Armenistis ist man ca. 30 Minuten mit dem Auto unterwegs. Aber vorsichtig - hinter jeder Kurve könnten Ziegen und Schafe die Straße kreuzen. Wir haben schon einige Inseln der Ägäis besucht, aber keine ist so ursprünglich und landschaftlich vielseitig wie Ikaria.

Prachtig huis met een schitterend uitzicht vanaf het dakterras. Heel schoon. vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar die snel reageert. Een schilderachtig dorpje met de winkels en restaurants op loopafstand. Een aanrader!

Eine wirklich tolle Unterkunft, schöner Sonnenuntergang und Strand direkt vor der Tür. Haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!

Ev sahibi ve eşi gördüğümüz en iyi ev sahipleriydiler. Ev sessiz sakin bir tatil, inziva için muhteşem. Harika bir deneyimdi. Evin hemen yanında (10 metre) mesafede denize rahatlıkla giriliyor. Vic'in dondurma ve tatlısı harikaydı. Hiç ayrılmak istemedik. Başka herhangi bir yerde yaşayamayacağımız unutulmaz bir deneyim oldu. Şimdiden yeniden gelmenin hayalini kuruyoruz. Teşekkürler.

Fabulous little house right on the beach, with excellent cafe-bar and tavernas next door. Faros is a gem of a place with beautiful beaches and hikes nearby, and the very impressive Drakano Tower, and mesmerising sea and mountain views. The house had two good-sized bedrooms, one facing the sea, one a garden with lemon tree. A cute old-style kitchen with cooker and a good shower. Angeliki was very helpful.

We had a wonderful time at Nikos's place. His father met us in the square and showed us to the apartment, which was charmingly furnished and very close to the center of town. Communication was easy and we spent several evenings lounging on the roof deck. Highly recommended!

Beautifully styled and gorgeous view particularly of the sunset. Sit on the balcony and watch the bright red sun like a ball of fire sink into the horizon. Although Xenia’s place it small it is perfectly designed and has a large balcony with sweeping ocean views. Xeni is the perfect host always responsive and her Dad gave us a warm welcome. I highly recommend this lovely place.

Charmant logement avec une vue magnifique sur la mer et une grande terrasse ou il est bon de se reposer le soir. Un petit chemin mène à une jolie petite plage au pied de la maison. C est un paradis tout paisible et pittoresque . L adorable petit port de Evdilos est à 1,3km (3min en voiture). Merci À Nico et sa famille pour son chaleureux accueil (raisin et tomates du jardin).
