Très bon logement, propre, pratique et surtout : face à la mer avec un grand balcon. Situé à 10 min à pied du centre ou 2min en voiture. Un plus serait peut-être d’ajouter une machine à laver dans le studio mais sinon, rien à dire. Séjour parfait.

Wir hatten wunderschöne 15 Tage! ☀️ Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön, super modern, komfortabel und alle waren sehr sehr nett! Der Pool war auch super und immer sauber. Nur ein paar Meter Fußweg war ein wunderschöner Strand, wo man auch super frühstücken kann. Um in die nächste Stadt oder an andere Strände zu kommen, braucht man aber einen fahrbaren Untersatz - da hat sich die nette Dame am Empfang auch drum gekümmert und wir wurden abgeholt, um zum Verleih zu kommen und beim abgeben des Quads auch wieder zur Unterkunft gebracht. Alles in allem waren wir rundum zufrieden und wollten gar nicht mehr weg. Vielen Dank für alles! 🤍

Alles sehr gepflegt - die Lage fussläufig zum Stand ist unschlagbar. Freundlicher Empfang der Gastgeberin, sehr zu empfehlen!

Très bel endroit, maison très confortable et très facile à vivre, des livres pour entrer dans la région, un beau jardin, des oliviers, une plage à 3 minutes. Un village avec tout ce qui est nécessaire, des restaurants au bord de l’eau. Une semaine à aimer cet endroit. Merci pour l’excellente qualité de l’accueil.

I had a really good time ! The apartment is clean and I much appreciated the view from the balcony! The instructions were clear and the parking easy. The only thing is that the bathroom is a bit small so it might not be very easy for a tall person. The village is charming with many good restaurants. I really enjoyed it!

A really enjoyable stay at Platankia. It was extremely well equipped and had everything you would need and more, only thing that would help would a microwave - the kids really enjoyed the toys that were in the beach basket and kept them entertained without the need for a TV etc. Be warned wifi is a bit slow but great if you want to disconnect from the Internet for a while. Some really great restaurants, would recommend Vespas for Pizzas and Vitsalo is great for seafood. Everyone in town is extremely friendly and kind and Myrtos is always contactable if you have any other queries. We enjoyed being able to pick oranges and lemons and made enough lemonade to sink a battleship! I really enjoyed the hmock and the slide and swing is great for children. It is extremely private as you have large greenhouses on both sides but at the same time it is super easy to walk into town. Overall I would definitely recommend this place and would come back. The gorge is worth seeing and lots of other stuff

Im April/Mai verbrachte ich 4 wunderschöne Wochen in dem tollen sauberen Appartement. Von dem großen Balkon war das Meer sehr gut zu sehen und auch das Rauschen der Wellen konnte ich hören. Die Wohnung liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Zum großen Strand mit Bäumen für genügend Schatten sind es gerade mal 2 Minuten. Den entzückenden Ort erreicht man in ca. 10 Minuten. Dort erwarten einen nette Tavernen, Geschäfte und Supermärkte, ein kleiner Hafen und ein langer Sandstrand. Von hier aus kann man sehr schöne Ausflüge in die Berge, zu schönen Stränden und größeren Orten machen! Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön an Ianna (die mich mit leckeren Mehlspeisen und griechischen Leckerbissen verwöhnte) und ihren Mann Aris für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft. Efcharistó polý!!!

The little apartment is located in a fishing village of Makry Gialos, in the far south East of the Island, full of nice restaurants but in a quiet spot, facing the sea. We found it very clean, set up with care. It has a good kitchen, a hair dryer, iron and board, and a very useful little book compiled by the host that described the surroundings. A little terrace and a lot of stray Cats around complete it. Reasonable price. A very good place to be.

Die Beschreibungen, Instruktionen und Empfehlungen zu Restaurants von Jean René haben wunderbar gepasst. Es ist ein ganz neues, modernes Haus mit sehr guter, neuer Ausstattung. Es war alles sehr sauber und schön. Schöne helle Räume, ein schöner Pool direkt am Haus, eine tolle Dachterrasse! Dank der Klimageräte in jedem Raum lassen sich auch heiße Tage und Nächte dort gut verbringen. Wir waren im Juni dort, da war der Strand noch sehr leer, aber alle Geschäfte und Restaurant hatten schon geöffnet. Und - ich habe es gestoppt - es ist zu Fuß zum Strand nur 1 Minute!

Our stay at the villa was nothing short of incredible. The location was peaceful and serene—away from the busier tourist areas, it truly felt like our own private resort. The views were absolutely stunning, and every moment there felt like a dream. The house itself was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and the heated pool was a highlight—especially during the cooler evenings. It made it easy to enjoy every part of our stay, no matter the weather. George, our host, was fantastic. He was always just a message away, ready with helpful suggestions and warm hospitality. His attention to detail and genuine care made our stay even more special. We’re already dreaming about our return. Highly recommend!

My stay at the beach house in Pachia Ammos felt like stepping into a quiet dream. The house was just as shown in the pictures — and somehow even more beautiful, embraced by the serene rhythm of the sea and the gentle charm of a peaceful neighborhood. Each morning, I woke to the whisper of waves and a view so breathtaking it felt like time stood still. The warmth of the locals made the experience even richer, and our host Marilou was the soul of it all — gracious, generous, and sincerely kind. I left a part of my heart by the shore, and I know I’ll return someday

Die Unterkunft in Kokkini Hani war insgesamt sehr schön. Alles war sauber und gepflegt, es war wirklich alles vorhanden, was man braucht – von Küchenutensilien bis hin zu Strandhandtüchern. Die Lage ist ein echtes Highlight: Direkt am Strand, man hört das Meer schon beim Aufwachen. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und gut erreichbar, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen: Die Raumaufteilung ist sehr offen gestaltet, wodurch es keine wirkliche Privatsphäre in den einzelnen Zimmern gibt. Wer Wert auf getrennte Schlafräume legt, sollte das bedenken. Trotzdem eine tolle Unterkunft in traumhafter Lage – perfekt für einen entspannten Strandurlaub!

Es war wundervoll, die Jungs und ich fanden am tollsten das Kaminfeuer und den Whirl im Freien, aber auch die schöne ländliche Umgebung und den Sternenhimmel bei Nacht. Sogar selbst gebackenes wurde uns vorbeigebracht. Es waren sehr liebe Gastgeber. Danke.

Danke an Mpampis. Er macht eine tollen Job und ist sehr nett und höflich und hilft immer gerne und ist da, wenn man Ihn Brauch. Er besitzt direkt 200m entfernt vom Beach House ein Café direkt am Beach, welches ich auch sehr empfehlen kann.

Wat een heerlijke eerste vakantie met onze dochter van 14 maanden! Ons verblijf in de luxe villa overtrof echt al onze verwachtingen – in werkelijkheid is het nóg mooier dan op de foto’s. Georgia, de verhuurster, was ongelooflijk vriendelijk, attent en behulpzaam. Alles was tot in de puntjes geregeld: babybedje, buggy, commode en zelfs een autostoel stonden al klaar. Toen we aangaven dat de stopcontacten precies op ooghoogte van onze kleine zaten, werd deze feedback tot onze verrassing de volgende dag opgevolgd en zijn de stopcontacten kindveilig gemaakt. Hoewel er net voor onze aankomst een flinke zandstorm was geweest, was daar niets meer van te merken. Alles was brandschoon en hygiënisch. Dankzij de geweldige service, warme ontvangst en prachtige accommodatie voelden we ons meteen thuis. Het was onze eerste keer op Kreta, maar zeker niet de laatste – we raden deze plek van harte aan!

Super Unterkunft, direkt am Strand! Wir hatten Ende Oktober perfektes Badewetter und den Strand komplett für uns alleine! Sidonia ist doch sehr abgelegen, in der Nachsaison hat noch 1 Taverne offen, dem muss man sich bewusst sein! Super zum Entspannen und einfach Strand und Meer Genießen.

My boyfriend and I spent five nights here for my 22nd birthday and it did not disappoint. The photos on here do not do the place justice and the local area is just the right amount of quiet busy also with an abundance of restaurants and bars. We didn’t get a hire car as we managed with the local buses as they are so much cheaper and we were able to get to beaches such as Saridari and Paralia Psaromoura, which we would recommend. We also would highly recommend a boat tour to Dia island if you are able too. Restaurant wise in Gournes we cannot recommend Nami Restaurant enough and it is a must! The beach opposite is a lovely shallow beach but we aware it can be quite windy hence why we explored other beaches - would advise if u go to these beaches you leave early (especially if u want a sun lounger)! Schönes kleines Apartment auf zwei Etagen. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Es gab genug Bettwäsche, Handtücher und Ersatzdecken und Kissen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, wenn auch auf sehr engem Raum. Ganz großartig fand ich den Privatstrand. Ein steiler Abstieg, der aber gut begehbar war. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur weiter empfehlen

We loved our stay! The apartment is located just on top of the Taverna and about 15 meters from the beach. Within 5 minutes walk there is also a yoga location offering amazing drop in classes. From the moment we drove into the town we were warmly greeted by the lambros family. We spent the next 5 days at the beach and taverna relaxing. It was a great experience and we truly felt part of the local community for the short period we stayed. I highly recommend it if you want to relax and do less rather than more! The apartment is spacious and provides all you need for your stay, including a washing machine. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space to chill.

*Ein traumhafter Aufenthalt mit atemberaubendem Meerblick auf Kreta* Mein Aufenthalt in einem Airbnb auf Kreta war einfach fantastisch! Die Unterkunft bot einen spektakulären Meerblick, der jeden Morgen zu einem besonderen Erlebnis machte. Die Wohnung war modern und äußerst sauber, was sofort für Wohlbefinden sorgte. Besonders beeindruckt war ich von der Hilfsbereitschaft des Besitzers. Auf meine Anfrage hin wurden die Handtücher prompt erneuert, und als ein unerwarteter Sandsturm aufkam, kümmerte er sich sofort um die Reinigung der Unterkunft. Die Lage war ideal, mit vielen Restaurants und Geschäften in der Nähe. Die Strände waren atemberaubend, und ich genoss es, im kristallklaren Wasser zu schwimmen. Die Go-Anbieter vor Ort waren äußerst hilfreich und gaben mir wertvolle Tipps, die meinen Aufenthalt bereicherten. Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert, da sie fließend Englisch sprachen. Insgesamt war es ein unvergesslicher Urlaub, den ich jedem empfehlen kann.

Wir waren zu zweit für insgesamt fünf Nächte vor Ort. Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft und liegt direkt in einer schönen Bucht mit einem schönen Strand. Für zwei Personen ist die Unterkunft vom Platz her völlig ausreichend und gut ausgestattet. Am Strand befindet sich ein Restaurant mit leckerem griechischen Essen zu fairen Preisen. Die Bucht eignet sich super zum schnorcheln und zum schwimmen, da das Meer die meiste Zeit sehr ruhig ist. Möchte man mehr erleben, als den Tag am Meer zu verbringen, so ist man definitiv auf ein Auto angewiesen, was für Kreta aber normal ist. Christina als Host war sehr herzhaft, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Hatte man Fragen, so wurden diese umgehend via Textnachricht beantwortet. Ich kann die Unterkunft und Christina als Host nur jedem empfehlen.

We had a love stay! Irene was communicative, check in was easy, and her home is ideally located. We enjoyed spending evenings on the patio, cooking meals at home, and snorkeling at the beach below the house. We found a really lovely taverna about 5 mins away that we enjoyed frequenting, as well as a market nearby. We enjoyed exploring this part of Crete and loved having Irene’s home to come back to each day. Highly recommend!

Our third year staying here. Very comfortable place. Kept very clean and tidy by Mrs Kokoo, very friendly helpful lady. Suits our requirements perfectly Very close to beach and all amenities. Nikos is always contactable and replies quickly. Only down side for some people may be the fact that is right next to a kebab restaurant that you have to walk through to get out if you want to leave out the sea facing side. The sea facing outdoor space is not very private due to this, and also people staying next door apartment can also walk through your outdoor area to get out . This doesn’t really bother us much, as we are out most of the time, but it may not be good for people who like outdoor space privacy to relax in. However we love this apartment and will return next year for sure!
