Ideal rural retreat for anyone and everyone! This cosy wooden cabin is a simply lovely place to stop and unwind. Set near to a small Sussex village with direct access onto the South Downs, Iford is on the wild fringes of historic Lewes (2 miles), vibrant Brighton (7 miles) and Newhaven ferry and beach (6 miles). Being close to a road the sound of traffic is audible. If you are walking the South Downs Way and want to book for one night only please contact me, we may be able to accommodate you.

The Garden Room is bright and spacious with lovely views to the south across the Lewes Brooks. There is a well equipped kitchen area, and you have your own front door. Coffee, tea, milk and some breakfast provisions will be waiting for you for your first morning. We are close to Lewes but with open fields nearby. It is a ten minute walk to a pub, for local beer and food. There is space nearby for a small car to park; larger vehicles can park about 20m from our driveway, on the Kingston Road.

This self-contained space, is ideal for 1 or two people to enjoy a restful stay with a newly appointed kitchen and bathroom. It has its own private entrance and outside seating area. A bus service to Brighton and universities is a 5 minute walk away. The train station and Lewes town Centre are about a 10 minute walk away. Easy access to walk and bike rides in the South Downs National Park.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. This adoreable suite has its own enterance to the back of the house and is completely seperate for your own privacy. Off road parking is available at all times. The suite has its own bathroom with shower, sink basin and toilet.Also offer tea and coffee facilities. Located on the 14 bus route which takes you directly into Brighton.The bus stops are literally right outside and run every 15 minutes. 2 miles from Newhaven ferry port.

The Garden Room

The annex is a detached building with a key safe and separate entrance situated in a very quiet part of the historic county town of Lewes. There is very little passing traffic and as we’re on the outskirts it’s about a 20 mins walk to the centre of the town but are very close to the South Downs, a 5 minute walk away and the gateway to the South Down way and the National Park. (Smoking only allowed outside) Close to Brighton and good access to public transport and a main line to London.

"The Tin Cabin" is a beautiful space set in a peaceful location nestled at the foot of the South Downs, in the quiet Hamlet of Swanborough. It was lovingly built from scratch in the garden of our farmhouse in 2020. It provides the perfect spot to rest and relax after a day exploring the historic county town of Lewes (just a 10 minute drive away) or walking/cycling the South Downs Way. The Juggs, a traditional local pub is in the neighbouring village of Kingston, just a 15 minute walk.

This lovely, characterful flint cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway or couples trip to this beautiful area in the South Downs National park. Perfectly set in a walled garden in a friendly, quiet village, within walking distance of Lewes town, with its independent cinema, pubs, restaurants and excellent shopping. Easy access to walks and bike rides on the South Downs, to Lewes and neighbouring villages. Peaceful and pretty private garden with fire pit and sitting areas to enjoy.

This is a detached converted garage with a bedroom and a shower room in a lovely part of town. It is 10 minutes walk from the centre of Lewes, 15 minutes walk from the train station, and 10 minutes walk from the South Downs. There is a private entrance around the side of the main house, with a key safe box by the door. It is not appropriate for people with mobility issues however, as there is a step at the entrance. Guests can use the offstreet parking in front of the house.

Welcome to your home from home in the lovely Downland village of Kingston. We are right on the South Down's Way and have a fantastic pub, The Juggs Arms, just a short walk away. We are within easy reach of Brighton, as well as being just a couple of miles from the historic county town of Lewes. Please note that the entirety of the property, including the outside spaces is non-smoking. We do allow well behaved dogs, but ask that you check with us before booking.

I used Karen’s BnB to stay over while performing for a wedding at Pelham House. The location was lovely and central. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is great. Karen had stocked the room with fruit and snacks which was perfect when I got in late from working. She prepared a tasty continental breakfast in the morning too.

Perfect Airbnb! Fabian has an amazing garden and also room was very very clean. Fabian was very helpful with my request for extra pillows. Very clean room and in a very good location. Only 3 minutes away from the bus stop to town!

Having stayed with Diets last year, we knew how welcoming and easy-going she is! The room is bright and airy, the bathroom is large and spotlessly clean and it is convenient to have an area to eat supper and breakfast (breakfast items were provided by Diets). The accommodation is pet-friendly, with a bed and bowls available and special liver treats, which were very much enjoyed by our dog! The location is excellent for walks along the beach or coast path but also access to the ferry to Dieppe. Thank you Diets for another lovely stay.

I stayed at Chloe's for one night to get the ferry on the next morning. Chloe's most welcoming and kind, and was very helpful in my particular case. The room is quiet, clean and comfortable, very conveniently located to get the ferry.
