Please contact us if you would like to have more than 4 people. ・ Towels, toothbrushes, pajamas, etc. are not provided. ・ If you would like a room with a toilet and TV, you will be charged 1,100 yen (tax included) per person on the day. ・ For infants (1 to 2 years old) using a bed, the basic fee is 4,000 yen + heating fee of 800 yen × tax, and if the bed is not used, the basic fee is 2,000 yen + heating fee of 800 yen × tax, which you will pay here on the day. ・ A little over an hour by car from Karuizawa and an hour from Kusatsu. One hour by bus from Ueda station. ・ There is no public transportation to Nagano. Less than an hour from Nagano station by car, an hour to Zenkoji Temple, and about an hour and a half to Togakushi. ・ There is a convenience store, post office, etc. in Sugadaira Kogen, about 7 minutes by car. ・ The nearest hot spring is about 20 minutes by car. ・ If you do not receive a reply after 1 day, please search for Minenohara Kogen Pension Fuku Naga and contact us.

Heidi is an apartment-style room connected to the egg-shaped main lodge, perfect for families or groups. With high ceilings and a spacious living area, it can host up to 8 guests. White wood walls and warm sunlight create a relaxing space. The large loft has two double beds and is accessible by two staircases. The kitchen and large dining table make it ideal for meals or small parties. Two entrances—one from outside and one from the main lodge—make moving around easy. Dog-friendly (optional).

The best things about Alpha Lodge are its wonderful & welcoming atmosphere and easy going country hospitality. The close proximity to the lifts & the Madarao Kogan Hotel and its amazingly relaxing Onsen (hot spring bath), is just an easy 200m walk and the views are amazing. Alpha Lodge was built around 40 years ago so you would expect that it is a bit tired in appearance but we are transforming bit by bit.
