It can be used as a base for sightseeing in Takaoka, not only in the Yamamachi-suji area, but also in the foundry town of Kanayamachi (10-minute walk), Takaoka Daibutsu (10-minute walk), Takaoka Castle Ruins (15-minute walk), and the National Treasure Zuiryuji Temple (25-minute walk).
