In winter, there are several groomed trails from the cabin both on the ice and in the woods. Neighbors also make a nice ice rink during the holidays. If you want to try ice fishing, this is a good opportunity. Charging station for electric car in the area. 3 km from Våg shopping center with shops, pharmacy and liquor store. 2.5 km from the bus stop Østby where the 550 bus from Oslo stops

Steinsborg is a small forest gem for those who are particularly interested. Drive a few km into the woods on a gravel road, and then you'll be there. The cabin is an old forest hut with simple standard, and outhouse. The food is cooked on a gas stove, and a gas refrigerator keeps the food cool. Water is collected in Steinsvannet right below. There is also a rowboat and a canoe that you can use. In here you can relax and enjoy silence and bird chirping. We will take care of the cleaning afterwards. Welcome!

A 30-minute drive to/from Oslo, or a quick 12-minute train ride followed by a 6 min bus journey - and you’re here. Ski also offers everything you need with a large shopping mall. Prefer not to cook? Get food delivered from nearby restaurants.

Apartment on the small farm

Here is a great place to get away, or if you just need a bed to sleep in! Parking space right outside the terrace of the apartment. Quiet surroundings, possibility to fire up the campfire (we have wood) In the summer we set up trampolines. Short distance to shops and nature around the house 😊 There is the possibility to make up an extra mattress in the living room. There is a dining room table that can be opened. We have 2 rabbits and 2 cats on the farm.

Cozy cabin 1 hour from Oslo

The cabin is conveniently located just a one-hour drive from both Oslo and Gardermoen. Its elevated position allows you to enjoy the magnificent view of Hemnessjøen, a popular lake for fishing all year round. During the summer, you can even borrow a boat to explore the lake. Additionally, there are some wonderful hiking areas in close proximity to the cabin, offering opportunities for outdoor adventures and connecting with nature.

Timbered cabin in peaceful surroundings. Walking distance to Lake Lyseren. Only about 35 km from Oslo. In winter, there is a ski trail to the door that connects with the rest of Østmarka. No running water, outdoor toilet on site. Guests must bring a sleeping bag or other equipment for overnight stays. Only what is in the pictures is on site. Guests must clean before they leave the place. There is water in jugs on site.
