Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The cabin is 5 minutes from downtown Mena in a beautiful golf course community. It sits nestled in the trees with a beautiful view overlooking the secluded 14 acres. Enjoy fishing or kayaking on Prairie Creek. Trailer your SxS to the trails or ride from the cabin. It is about a 15 minute drive by SxS to either trail system from the cabin. We provide a map that shows the route we take from the cabin. Come enjoy the peace and beauty Mena offers.

It is the perfect spot to get away and enjoy nature with all the conveniences of home. Our cabin is a 6 minute drive to UA Rich Mountain or Mena Medical Center.

Country Cabin

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Bring your kids and bring your toys, plenty of space to park your trailer and head to the national forest, close to the Ouachita river, for swimming and fishing! We have 2 bathrooms, 2 queen beds, plus a hide-a-bed, the guest house is across the driveway from the main house, so you will probably see us out and about, feeding animals or working in the garden. So we invite you to come out and experience life in the country!

The Cottage at Acorn

The Cottage at Acorn is located in the Heart of the Ouachita Mountains. The Cottage is a double cylinder block mother-in-law suite attached to our house, with concrete floors, pine ceilings and vintage decorations. Walking distance from a playground, walking track, and Veterans Memorial Park. There are 2 entrances to The Cottage. Please use the Veterans Memorial Park Entrance. Covered parking and a outdoor covered patio makes a good sitting area. And only 4 miles from Mena!

Mountainside Retreat near Queen Wilhelmina SP

This clean tiny home is the closest Airbnb to Queen Wilhelmina State Park. It’s surrounded by trees, and less than 2 miles from the state park’s trails & restaurant, the Ouachita Trail, Black Fork Mtn Trail, & Talimina Scenic Drive. Has wi-fi, smart TV, covered deck, & heat/air. Queen bed & full size sofa sleeper. Full kitchen with coffee pot, Keurig, electric kettle. 15 minutes to Mena. Hosted by local teachers.
