Tina was an excellent host. She went over and beyond making sure we had a great stay, including putting in a brand new BBQ for us which was greatly appreciated. Communication was great prior to our arrival and during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The apartment was very clean and as described. It was great that liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner was provided, as were kitchen basics, tea, coffee etc. The apartment is in a great location, a 5 minute walk from the Bondi shopping mall where you can buy everything you need, and a 20 minute walk from Bondi Beach. The heated pool, although small, is a rare find and great for cooler times of the year, and the lovely covered outdoor dining area is perfect for BBQs. The area is noisy with a busy multi lane main road directly behind the apartment and a school in front of it. The other thing to note is that the apartment is approached by about 10 steep external steps so might not be easy for people with mobility issues.

This was a magnificent place for a long weekend with a group of friends. The views are spectacular, and the place very private. The house was spotless and very clean. I wanted to bring in some flowers and balloons prior to arrival and the host was incredibly accommodating with regards to allowing those services in at the check in time. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay at this lovely home, tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. The location made for a very peaceful and private experience. The house itself was spacious and well laid out, with four generously sized bedrooms, all featuring comfortable beds. One night did get a little chilly, and it would’ve been helpful to have a few extra blankets on hand—we ended up using the doonas from the unused beds, which worked fine. The kitchen was impressively large. There was a coffee machine too, which was a nice touch—though having some milk provided would have made it even better. The pool area looked beautiful and inviting, although it was a bit too chilly for a swim during our visit. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. I’d definitely come back again and would happily recommend this place to others looking for a quiet, comfortable home away from home.

We had a terrific stay at Bruce's place. The place is exactly like the photos, so our expectations were 100% matched with the location. It is a lovely and quiet location, surrounded by bushland and nice, quiet streets. I will stay there again when visiting Sydney next time. A really good find and well worth the price.

Loved staying in this gorgeous apartment. I came for a little writing-retreat and it was the perfect place to get work done whilst also feeling relaxed and comfortable. There are lovely green spaces nearby to go for walks/runs, and Potts Point is just a wonderful place to explore. There was an issue with the buildings hot water while I was there, but Janai did everything possible to keep me updated and give me alternative options too. Overall, a great experience!

Breathtaking views whilst still being private. Need to come back for a while longer to soak it all in.

The home was lovely and well presented with lots of comforts. The instructions and details of step in rear of the heritage house were appreciated. There was flexibility to leave our dog in the backyard to collect family from the airport and the cleaning staff were incredibly friendly.

We had a full house at Harry’s place for a family reunion and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Plenty of spaces to hang out, great entertaining kitchen, comfy and private bedrooms, great parking and so closed to the best parts of Newtown. We loved it.

Absolutely loved our stay! The home was cosy, spotless, and perfect for a relaxing night before heading to the airport. The location was super convenient—just a 12-minute walk to the train station and only 5 minutes to local shops and the bus stop. Everything we needed was close by, making it easy to get around. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Beautifully appointed house. Great neighborhood with many cafes, restaurants and shopping options. Lovely walks and views on the harbour. Ideal location close to the ferry and bus. Will definitely go back if available ale during our next visit.

This is a hidden gem. We will definitely stay here again. Just 4 minutes by ferry to the centre of the city but felt like we were another world away as it was so quiet. Jillian was great to deal with. Highly recommended

The location was perfect, with easy access to local spots and a peaceful atmosphere for relaxing. We really appreciated the little touches—like [insert specific detail, e.g., fresh coffee, helpful guidebook, soft towels, etc.]—that made the stay even more special. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Perfect location, easy uber ride into the city and Sydney Olympic park. Hosts were very responsive.

Absolutely perfect for us and our three primary aged children. The kids LOVED having a park and oval on the doorstep to the house, this was a dream for them! The cottage is very comfortable and plenty of space for us. Easy to use TV and kitchen including coffee. There is also a coffee shop at the park that is open most mornings. We will definitely look to book again next time we are in the area with the kids.

Sharon is a super host! She is great with communication and so kind to have allowed me to check in a bit early to leave my luggage, which was a great help! The place is clean and so close to Balmain shops, just 5 minutes walk, and before the Main Street there are plenty of eclectic cafes around. Really just the perfect stay in Sydney. Love it!

I had a lovely stay! Everything was super walkable and it was close to the bus line. It was truly a little paradise in the suburbs! Lots of beautiful birds (they are peaceful but certainly not quiet), amazing foliage, and the cat in the yard was such a sweetie. I would definitely stay here again!!

Lovely cottage with studio in the back, conveniently located near the main strip of Newtown and the train. The dining area with day bed was lovely to sit in, even during a rainstorm.

I stayed at Diana’s for a night while travelling between Sydney and the Blue Mountains. Check in was really easy and the house was in a great location. The available room feels like a self contained apartment at the back of the house with beautiful outlook to old houses and trees. Diana was friendly and responsive and made the stay very easy. She also left some thoughtful snacks in the kitchenette!

We had such a wonderful stay — this place is a gem! It’s beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, with an incredible art collection that made it feel truly special. One of the absolute highlights was being trusted with their precious vinyl collection — it brought so much warmth and character to our evenings. The kitchen was excellently equipped, making it easy and enjoyable to cook meals at home. The beds were super comfortable, and the location was ideal — peaceful, yet close to everything we needed. A heartfelt thank you for creating such a welcoming and inspiring space.
