You get the feeling of being "alone in the whole world" despite 7 minutes to Fagernes town. Mindfulness. About 2.5 hours drive towards Valdres from Oslo. There is electricity and wood burning. There is one bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed, dining room and bathroom with shower. There is a bio toilet inside the bathroom. Must walk 40 meters from the parking space to the cabin. Enjoy quiet days in a cozy cabin with a brand new wood-fired sauna, perfect for relaxing after trips in the mountains or a day on the slopes. The cabin is large (109 sqm), spacious and open. The surrounding area has good hiking conditions both on foot, on skis and by bike. There is an opportunity for hunting and fishing. Right outside the door there is a well-developed network of well-prepared ski slopes. There is a short distance to the alpine facilities in Trysilfjellet (25 minutes) and Sälen (35 minutes). Here you have proximity to activities in summer and winter.

Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. Kort vei til snaufjellet, flotte turmuligheter, fiske, bading og langrenn, i tillegg til seterliv på Håvardsrud og kulturarven på Rjukan, som står på UNESCOs verdensarvliste. Gaustablikk skisenter ligger 50 km fra hytta. Hytta passer godt for familier og gjester som ønsker ro, natur, utsikt og gode opplevelser året rundt.

The summer barn at Hovelsrud, Helgøya

Det gamle sommerfjøset til Hovelsrud Gård ligger idyllisk til mellom Mjøsa og en bølgende kornåker – et enkelt og unikt sted for den som vil komme tett på naturen og nyte roen på Helgøya. Huset passer best for et par eller en liten familie med inntil to barn. Inne er det et soverom og en åpen stue. Ute er det en kjøkkenbenk, med et gassbluss og grill, en liten strand med bademulighet og utedo. Det er ikke strøm.
