Holiday rentals with a balcony in Interlaken-Oberhasli District

The rental was clean, very close to the train station which made things so convenient but it was still quiet and peaceful. The rental was very clean and comfortable. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay. There is a bakery, a grocery store, and some restaurants within walking distance. Our family of 5 had a great stay!

Fuimos un grupo de tres parejas con recorrido en una camioneta y este fue un alojamiento EXCELENTE!! IDEAL para conocer la zona de Interlaken y pueblos cercanos como Lauterbrunnen y Grindelwald. El ingreso es self service y simple. Cuenta con parking propio. Todo funcionó perfecto, tanto los baños como la cocina y las habitaciones. Tiene lavarropas. La sala con TV del piso de arriba es hermosa. Tiene juegos de mesa que están buenísimos. Si estás buscando un alojamiento para 6/7 personas, este es el indicado, no lo dudes.

Lovely home with spectacular views. The stairs from the road up are interesting with luggage but the walk from the office to the home was an easy downhill. Beautiful traditional Swiss villa/home. NB no washing machine or hairdryer. There is an easy to use laundromat in Wengen. We really enjoyed our stay and made great use of our Swiss travel pass exploring the area around this region.

Excellent place, nice surroundings and stuning views.

We loved our stay at Roossihuus. The house felt instantly homely, was spacious and well equipped. The panoramic views of the mountains were absolutely stunning and were a pleasure to wake up to each day! We would definitely stay again :)

Een uitstekende vakantiewoning die van alle gemakken is voorzien. Heerlijke bedden, uitstekende keuken en een royaal balkon. Het uitzicht is schitterend! Helaas hebben wij daar maar een keer van kunnen genieten want er was steeds zeer dichte mist. Vanaf de voordeur loop je zo de wandelpaden op die zelfs met minder mooi weer prachtig zijn. Wij komen hier graag terug!

The apartment was exactly what we needed. It was large, clean, and had unbelievable views. The onsite staff were very nice and helpful. They went out of their way to assist guests, including us. Only negative was that they don’t get to run the Air BNB communication so replies from corporate took at least a day or two to respond in-app. We could not find the place on arrival and no one responded to our messages and the phone that corporate provided went to a line that eventually stated that it couldn’t take our call and hung up on us while we stood there with our bags looking for the place. To be fair, looking back through the emails, there were instructions that in hindsight helped lead the way but it got lost in the noise of many emails that were sent regularly from their 3rd party checkin site they require you to use. Once we got checked in, we had an excellent stay. It’s just one part of the process that could improve. I would still recommend staying here however, without a doubt.

The location was perfect. The house is located in a more residential, quiet area, far from more touristy locations but good walking distance from train and buses, with a stunning view on the mountains from the balcony. Although some parts of the house are showing their age (ie bathroom), it was comfortable and functional. I would highly recommend.

The house is beautiful and it’s great to have a small library to choose books for comfy after ski breaks. Very good bus connection

Haben hier zu viert vier Nächte verbracht. Nette Unterkunft mit großem Wohnzimmer, Schlafzimmer, Küche, Bad und Balkon. Toller Ausblick auf die Berge! Die Ausstattung in der Unterkunft ist ausreichend und wie beschrieben. Für große Personen ist ein wenig Vorsicht mit der Deckenhöhe geboten, aber das verleiht dem Haus seinen Charme 😊

Amazing space I'm coming back for sure

Tout était parfait ! Grand et beau chalet, très propre, très bien équipé, et très bien placé. Mais il n'y a pas de chalet au pied des pistes à Grindelwald. Attention aux trains, les passages sont fréquents, pas gênants pour des adultes, mais dangereux pour des enfants qui voudraient jouer dehors devant la maison.

The location is beautiful, and the home is great for a group. Fair warning on two items: 1) This home is in Wengen and can only be reached by taking the train from Lauterbrunnen, it will get expensive going back and forth between the two towns. 2) You will need to walk up several steep hills (10-15 min uphill walk) to get from the train station in Wengen to get to the home. If you aren’t capable of carrying all of your luggage that distance, you’re going to have a problem. Overall, the house is fine; it was clean, check-in was fine. Lighting wasn’t great in the home, but you’re not going to Lauterbrunnen to sit inside. If you’re relatively fit, tackle the hike from the home up to Kleine Scheidegg, it’s beautiful and a great workout.

Just wow - insanely beautiful view, quick walk to restaurants and grocery stores, and very spacious. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Phenomenal get away- peaceful, tucked away stay. Loved every minute here!
