Beach house holiday rentals in Inverness

Great wee cottage in Hilton, just what my colleague and I needed for staying for a work event nearby! Comfy beds and a cracking sun-trap garden, ideal for sitting out with a drink of an evening - we were blessed with lovely weather! Thanks ☺️

Wir sind vier Freundinnen, die zusammen eine Woche in Nairn im Marine-Cottage direkt am Strand verbracht haben. Dass man aus der Küchentür direkt zum Strand kommt, und vom Esstisch aus das Meer sieht, fanden wir wunderbar! Wir haben oft gekocht in der gut ausgestatteten Küche des Cottages. Auch mit der Aufteilung, mit den drei Schlafzimmern, den beiden Bädern und dem schönen Wohnzimmer mit dem Kamin hat das Cottage für uns vier Frauen gut gepasst und war sehr komfortabel. Wir hatten eine schöne Woche am Meer im Marine-Cottage von Allasdair! Und kommen sicher wieder!

This is one of the best Airbnb stays I have had over the years. Sharon was just unbelievably kind and considerate as a host. From start to finish this was a smooth stay. As we were there over Christmas we didn’t get to visit a lot of places, but we took walks along the beach which was lovely, especially when the sun was starting to set. The home was furnished very well and had all the amenities that you would need. Despite us going over our checkout time (again apologies for this) Sharon and the team were so understanding and allowed us to move out our things and kept that kind spirit. In a way it might’ve been a plus as we got to meet her in person and she is just as lovely. Would truly recommend this home. And will definitely be booking this over summer at one point and for a longer stay, to really take in the house!!

Kenneth’s house had a wonderful setting. It was close to the beach with great views of the bay from the front windows. The house was spacious and well equipped. It felt like a home from home. There were a number of interesting walks from the house and two nice cafes nearby. Overall a great location from which to explore the Black Isle area.

We had a great stay here. The house exceeded our expectations and we particularly loved being able to walk on the beach in the evenings after exploring the beautiful Highlands during the days. It was especially especially useful to have some books and toys for children as we flew to Inverness with hand luggage only. Thanks for the friendly and useful communication - we hope to be back!

Needs new windows properly it very nice but unfortunately very cold but had a lovely stay

This is such a cosy, welcoming property and has everything you need for a relaxing, comfortable stay. The glass fronted room overlooking the bay is pretty much perfect and you really don’t need to move from this spot! You can just pop your feet up with a drink or two and quite easily spend the day watching the sea birds and people passing by, whilst admiring the wonderful landscape all around you. It was also handy to have both restaurants and shops a short stroll away, this was so convenient and added to the overall feeling of ease and relaxation. Jude was a kind and responsive host who was quick to sort out the couple of minor issues I had with accessing the lock-box and heating. All in all a lovely experience and we hope to return one day.

Amazing location with stunning views, great for walks on the beach and surrounding areas with the dog. Lots of villages and towns within driving distance for a day out. The cottage itself is perfect for a couple (and dog), warm, cosy and homely with everything you need to make for a perfect break. Cannot recommend enough and would certainly consider the hosts other locations for our next breaks.

Our stay at the cottage was great! It was such close proximity to Fort George and the beach which we enjoyed walking along as the sun set. It was well equipped and we so enjoyed our time.

What a beautiful surprise Nairn was, only steps to the perfect beaches, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the house was great & in a perfect location.

Lovely location, lovely place. Blair was great to work with. The house was comfortable and offered everything needed for a relaxing stay. The home is walkable to the beach, park, and many restaurant’s. Many great attractions nearby. Highly recommend!

Great Place to stay with various age groups

I can’t imagine a nicer place to stay in Findhorn if you are coming here on a beach vacation. The location of this Airbnb is perfect. Findhorn’s beaches and trails are absolutely beautiful and the village is nice, and everything is within walking distance - the area is wild and the water cold but swimmable. We loved the board games and the DVD player for early mornings and late evenings. The renovation and decor are truly upscale - it’s a beautiful and comfortable home! Cooking was easy and water pressure and temp were good for us (for international visitors not used to the system, we used Eco and pointed it just above the red - it worked great.) From the U.S., we weren’t familiar with on/off switches for outlets and some of the other environmentally sustainable items/upgrades before we arrived, but Laura’s detailed instructions were very helpful and after reviewing for a couple minutes, everything was very simple and easy to figure out. Thanks for sharing your home!

Mark is a great host and our employees couldn't have been happier with their stay at Marks home whilst working away. Mark is extremely helpful and responsive to messages and thankfully was able to extend our stay as our job over ran the length of time expected. Extra cleans & bedding changes were completed promptly and nothing was too much a bother :)

Simon was Very responsive host and very helpful when we needed some help. I recommend the place it was incredible for a quaint little town definitely take the time to explore the town. I would book this place again if I am in the area.

Emma was a wonderful host & the cottage was absolutely perfect for our needs! So cozy & lovely accommodations, as well as recommendations, provided - you can tell lots of care & detail has been poured into it.

A very well prepared and clean property offering good value accommodation

Claire was the most wonderful host, responsive, helpful, and kind. During our stay we had a medical emergency, and they were accommodating and understanding as we dealt with that. The cottage is adorable and well stocked with cooking implements. Our children loved the bunk beds with the individual night lights, and our bed was quite comfortable as well with nice pillows. The shower/bathtub is lovely and the water can go very hot. Overall we are so pleased with our stay and will return on our next trip.

nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine et c'est avec tristesse que nous l'avons quitté. la maison est super bien équipée au delà de nos attentes. l'intérieur est cosy et la vue de la véranda on ne s'en lasse pas. les gens du quartier sont gentil et le pub tout au bout de la rue à droite est super accueillant et convivial. nous serions bien restés une ou deux semaines de plus.

We spent our Christmas here and it was magical. Lindsay provided us with everything we need which includes a lovely decorated Christmas tree. The rooms were clean and very well presented, the kitchen was more than fully equipped and all bathrooms were spotless. The outside was even better with the sea, the beach and the woods. We will definitely come back to this house again!

Fantastic place had a great time visiting our daughter and her husband. The local area is absolutely stunning with lots to do and the accommodation is so cosy you could just stay there very easily. Welcome pack was incredible and a lovely touch. Dog friendly and the walks straight from the house were perfect for the dog. Highly recommend the harbour lights restaurant and the galley fish and chip shop walking distance from the cottage. Had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. Thank you Wendy.
