Covered deck offers excellent wildlife observation. Owners have large people-friendly dogs, so no pets allowed. In winter, 4WD vehicle or chains strongly advised.

Also known as Dominion Mountain Retreat, this 565 sq. foot bungalow can sleep up to 5, but is spacious and lovely for a couple. Very comfortable queen bed upstairs, with spiral stairs leading to a rooftop deck. Full kitchen, dedicated workspace, tiled bath with shower, hot tub and fire pit available for comfort outside. Blue Heron Cabin sits on a 291 acre wildlife preserve. It has an active Great Blue Heron rookery on site, a Bald Eagle nest and a huge variety of waterfowl and wildlife. Easy access off Hwy 2. Private 35-acre lake for fishing and kayaking on site. Two kayaks with life jackets. Boat & trailer parking at cabin. Public boat launch into Pend Oreille River directly across the street; public beach and playground. Children welcome. Books & toys. 55" TV.

The Hidden Moose Lodge

The Hidden Moose Lodge is the ideal destination for any guests looking for a place to stay in Northern Pend Oreille County. Located down a private access road, this charming cabin nestled in the woods (NOT on the River) is the perfect retreat for all seasons!
