Cosy Lewes Studio

MilindRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
An easy 13 mins walk from Lewes Station via Southover High St, this was a great place to chill and feel rested, and have the flexibility to do our own cooking the first night we arrived. Ruth and her husband looked after us and made us feel welcome. Recommend the 15 mins walk along Rotten Row to the town centre: you catch a glimpse of views of the south downs on your way. Looking forward to returning next month!

The Lodge at Spring Farm Alpacas

RichardRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Really enjoyed our week's stay including an Alpaca walk. Chris and Vicki were very helpful and full of knowledge about their Alpacas and Llamas. You could tell that they cared for each and every one of them and spoke to them in a quiet gentle voice so as not to alarm them. So quiet and peaceful especially when the Alpacas were out and we could see them from the living room and bedroom windows and when we relaxed outside sitting at the table having our breakfast. Everything you needed was there and also recommendations on where to visit. We would definitely book again and recommend. So glad we booked this special place.

Former Game keepers lodge with woodburner

ZoeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Sally's lodge is a piece of heaven. The photos do not do it justice so expect a lovely surprise. It fits in its environment perfectly: the old-world charm of East Sussex. It throws you back to a time when the world might have felt peaceful, genteel, smelling of wildflowers and log fire, yet, with all the mod-cons. The very best of both worlds. Sally is an attentive, reactive and kind host. I felt warmly welcomed after long day of flight delays, as if I'd come home. A home in a parallel universe where all is well. I truly did not want to go back to my home in the real world!

Little Strollings, in a rural Sussex village

Our stay in Plumpton Green was everything we’d hoped for. The space was clean, comfortable & cosy. We had a wonderful time visiting Knepp rewilding project, Brighton & Lewes. Lots of amazing things to explore pretty much on the doorstep.

Beautiful Converted 19th Century Barn

EuanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Stayed here a few times now and lost none of its charm. Had a great time and was perfect base for us to visit family and before our flight the next day from Gatwick. We will definitely stay again. The barn and surroundings are lovely with some great pubs so close by.

A special self catering cottage

JackieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Absolutely brilliant Air BnB. Great location to visit Eastbourne, Brighton, Rye, Wakehurst etc though the track to it is pretty bumpy so not ideal if you are going out several times a day. However, we went out in the morning & back in the evening & it’s so quiet & peaceful when you are there, it didn’t bother us. Accommodation was exactly like the photos & was so well stocked e.g. welcome basket, milk, dish washer tablets, biscuits etc & they saved our bacon because we forgot dog bowls but there they were in the cupboard; absolutely brilliant 🤩 Extremely clean & beautifully decorated throughout with shampoo & shower gel included. Was made to feel really welcome & our little westie, Minnie, thoroughly enjoyed her week away as well. Probably one of the best Air BnBs we have ever stayed in. Will definitely return when we next visit Sussex 😊😊

Recently renovated Oast House

DebbieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
From the very start of the booking to our departure our hosts were so friendly and hospitable and made us feel extremely comfortable, as if we were their neighbours. The property is decorated to a very high level and the grounds are private and tranquil. We truly did not want to leave and hope to be able to book again very soon. Thank you :-)
