Apartment holiday rentals in Island of Ortigia

I’ve stayed in Ortigia before - this apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated! Easy 2nd floor walk up. Fantastic location! I stayed for 2 weeks and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place.

The apartment is beautiful and has a great location. It is very comfortable, and quiet and safe. It is very convenient to walk everywhere.

Right from the start Loredonna made sure we had all the information we needed and during our stay left us alone to enjoy ourselves but was always available if we need anything. Most importantly she also gave clear leaving instructions when the time came. The apartment is a very good size and smartly furnished for a stay in Ortigia. The location is ideal for a short walk to the marina to see the big yachts come or go to the market for provisions. Plenty of street side restaurants mean cooking at home really isn't necessary. Car parking in Ortigia can be a challenge but we used a privately managed underground carpark recommended by Loredonna and with an hour's notice they would have the car ready for us to take a trip. Overall highly recommended for a week in Ortigia.

Such a beautiful gem of an apartment! I would fully recommend staying here! We stayed for three nights after we’d just got married in Sicily. The apartment is beautiful and just as it looks in the pictures - the roof terrace is a real bonus! It’s absolutely stunning & a great place to laze under the sun, relaxing in the day or to have an alfresco dinner in the evening. It also overlooks ruins which is super interesting. The location of the apartment is also great - a 2-3 minute walk from the lively fish market & a variety of great restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We loved our stay in Ortigia. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and in a great location. We found it difficult to find the apartment when we arrived though as the door was obscured by the market tables and tents and the lockbox didn’t work. Fortunately we were able to contact Aurore who assisted. Otherwise a great stay. Recommended.

Very centrally located in a pictureque street. Spacious, cool and perfect for a stay in Ortigia. Fabio was very accessible, helpful and friendly.

We loved our stay in Ortigia. This apartment is close to the swimming beach, great eating spots and had all the features as promised on this site. It was great fun to have such easy access to walk around town and we even got used to the stairs! Communication was always helpful and available. We will be back soon hopefully!

We loved this apartment in Ortigia! Perfect location right by a cute square with lots of restaurants/shopping and the whole island is walkable. The apartment is very modern, spacious, clean and looked just like the pictures. Would definitely recommend!

Emilia was very kind and easy to communicate with. She was on top of all necessary information and offered a spacious and clean apartment for us to enjoy Ortigia. It is on a main street that is very loud for most of the night, which I wish I knew, as it made it hard to sleep.

Perfect for a family of four ( or five with the sofa bed). Two bathrooms makes a huge difference and was the main reason for choosing this apartment. Location means teenagers are safe and free to take themselves off to the swimming areas or surrounding shops. Really good size apartment with very comfortable mattresses. Great blockout shutters and quiet location. We loved our stay and highly recommend for a short stay or a few nights as a base. Beware, 52 stairs to get up to apartment. For us, not an issue but for some it is worth noting.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment in a quiet part of Ortigia. It was just a short walk from everything, making it easy to explore and pop back when needed. The terrace was perfect for enjoying the afternoon sun. The apartment itself was clean, stylish, and very comfortable. Lino was an exceptional host—he went above and beyond helping with transportation from Catania and offering great restaurant recommendations. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

Simonetta delivered everything she promised and more. The apartment was extremely comfortable, clean quiet and spacious. We like to cook as well as trying restaurants. Everything we needed was there. On arrival we immediately knew we’d made a great choice. A nice touch were “disposable “ slippers and quality towelling robes. Going out was a great experience, the market was practically next door selling fresh fish, meat, fruit, herbs etc. We will come again!

Andrea made us feel so at home. Not only did he greet us upon arrival, but he also had stocked the kitchen with some speciality food items and wine. He was incredibly responsive and provided us many wonderful local recommendations. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Lovely clean, updated apartment in the perfect location for walking around Ortigia. Beautiful balcony with an incredible view right over the Temple of Apollo. Amazing! Very responsive host. AC worked well in very hot temperatures. Highly recommend.

We had some very lovely days at Maria's place. The location of the home is central and especially the two balconies are a big plus. There is a lot of noise and smells of barbecue, fish, etc. from the market just below the apartment, but it's part of the charm. Maria is a very attentive and welcoming host. We'd love to come back.

A lovely apartment with good facilities and furnishings, wonderfully easy use of a private beach and not too far away to drive to the restaurants and sights of Syracuse.

A very pretty house right in front of the beautiful beach. Very comfortable and friendly host If I go to Syracuse again, I definitely want to stop by again!

Very nice setting, quiet, Roberto and Erik his son are very responsive and very kind. I would recommend this place for discovering Syracuse and its surroundings.

Mariella's place was not only spotless and beautifully furnished, but it was located in an ideal location to fully enjoy and explore Ortigia! The apartment was close to the water and only five minutes' walk from the square. We loved staying there and already plan to return the next time we vacation in Sicily!

Marta was a wonderful host - extremely responsive and helpful when we had questions. We thoroughly enjoyed this spacious, clean aapartment. Beautiful views of the sea and we loved the balcony. It was situated right next to the lively and fun market with lots of good restaurant choices. Everything was walkable on this gorgeous island of Ortygia. We would stay here again!

Salvo was a great host. Responded quickly to communication and went above and beyond what is expected. Really appreciated his help with storing our luggage. The apartment is only a short walk to the city center and Ortigia and was good value for money. The free breakfast at a local cafe/bar was lovely and a real bonus.

Great location Comfortable space

The apartment is bright, modern and very well furnished. The landlord was super nice and helpful. The center is within walking distance. Perfect starting point in all directions. The bus stop/bus station is right at the house and can be heard from the terrace. Basically, Sicily has a massive problem with garbage disposal, which is unfortunately clearly visible in some neighborhoods.
