A truly unique elevated south facing location a stones throw from the sea, the only property right by the sea offering spectacular sea loch views to both South and West for watching sea life, porpoise and dolphins are seen regularly from this corner as are seals and otters. On entering Windwords people often comment of having a sense of stepping aboard a boat! Each bedroom holds commanding views out to sea from the comfort of your bed. Otter Bothy

Otter Bothy is a small, self contained cabin right on the banks of West Loch Roag, in the village of Carishader, perfectly situated for wildlife, fishing, walking, cycling, surfing and kayaking. Otter Bothy is situated beside Otter Bunkhouse, but offers private accommodation in a small but very cosy cabin, with spectacular views across West Loch Roag. At only a few metres from the shoreline, there aren't many places as close to the water as this! The minimum stay is 2 nights. No dogs.

Shore Cottage, by the sea, amazing views.

As close to the sea as you could get. Peaceful and private. No road in front. Spacious grounds with stream, bridge and trees. Just the two bedrooms (one double and one with 2 singles). Fantastic kitchen, dining, living room space with 6 windows for maximum sunlight and views and a wood burning stove. Situated at one end of the village within walking distance of pub, restaurants and shop. Perfect spot for watching sea eagles, otters, seals and sunsets. Magical and inspiring!
