It is located in a pedestrian area, so it is not accessible by car, but there is a convenient paid parking lot a 2-minute walk away and free parking along the road a little further away. Close to the most important places to visit! Access to the apartments is on a comfortable ground floor but the view from the balcony of apartment number 1 is on a high floor (magic of the Sassi of Matera!)

The house is build from an ancient cave, behind Santa Maria La Nova main church. The big garden is the natural extension of the house.. hammock, fireplace, tables and spaces among olive and lemon trees, hidden from tourists routes, perfectly inside the village.

Pra di Brëc is our dream that became true. We have restructured our grandparents’ home and we would like to offer you an experience characterized by simplicity and hospitality, to understand and appreciate the value of the family we grew up with. We have combined tradition and design, maintaining the original structure of the house and re-using the materials available in the old house . We have combined these antique materials (and objects) with a modern thought of aesthetics and comfort.

Trullo Nonna Pina

Ancient Saracen Trullo just renovated suitable for a couple. In a single space, an area with a double bed, a small kitchen equipped with everything and a dishwasher, a bathroom with a large shower and a private veranda with an umbrella, deck chairs and a small table have been created. The trullo is not isolated but located in an area with 2 other trulli used for rentals (a very small village). In front of the trullo there is a pine forest with a relaxation area and plenty of space to walk.

You can live in an ancient cave house built by stone quarrymen and renovated respecting the historical features but with all modern comforts. The environment you will find will be unique, enveloping, so you can immerse yourself in an oasis of serenity and tranquility. You can also take advantage (included in the price) of the Wellness Area equipped with a Turkish bath, sauna, emotional shower and hydromassage tub with waterfall and be pampered by our massages. The Cellar (Palazzo Pallotti)

The apartment is two floors below the square, entirely dug into the tuff. Overlooking the valley, it is isolated from the noises of the street, quiet, private, and very welcoming. The tuff walls give it an ancient vibe to transport you to another time. It can be reached on foot, via a footbridge that takes you directly to the square where the property is located. It is perfect for short stays of complete relaxation, but with the fully equipped kitchen you can make the most of it.

My place is located in Via San Rocco 47 in the heart of Sasso Barisano. It is a recently renovated vacation home highlighting the authenticity and originality of the dwelling dug into the tuff. The apartment will conquer and amaze you with its high tuff vaults, elegant and refined details and the warmth and hospitality that will make you feel at home. It is the ideal place for all those who wish to dive into the past with all the comforts of modern life.

The apartment, with independent entrance is located in the historic center and is fully renovated. Attention to detail, the loft is designed to enhance the contrast between antique and modern, with living stone walls and exposed beams that blend into the industrial chic style. The space, equipped with every comfort has a kitchen, TV, coffee maker, WiFi fiber A whirlpool tub, inside a vault at the foot of the bed gives guests moments of relaxation.

The cave

My accommodation is in the historic center of the country. It is only 10 km from Terme of Sorano, while 20 km from Bolsena Lake and Saturnia (spa). You'll love my place because it's bright, panoramic, clean, and welcoming. Suitable for couples, sole adventurers, families (with kids) and furry friends (pets). NB: if the reservation is for two people it means only one bed, for an extra bed it is necessary to book at least for 3 people.
