Access to the apartments is on a comfortable ground floor but the view from the balcony of apartment number 1 is on a high floor (magic of the Sassi of Matera!)

The house is build from an ancient cave, behind Santa Maria La Nova main church. The big garden is the natural extension of the house.. hammock, fireplace, tables and spaces among olive and lemon trees, hidden from tourists routes, perfectly inside the village.

The apartment is two floors below the square, entirely dug into the tuff. Overlooking the valley, it is isolated from the noises of the street, quiet, private, and very welcoming. The tuff walls give it an ancient vibe to transport you to another time. It can be reached on foot, via a footbridge that takes you directly to the square where the property is located. It is perfect for short stays of complete relaxation, but with the fully equipped kitchen you can make the most of it.

Trullo Nonna Pina

Antico Trullo Saraceno del 1400 appena ristrutturato. In un’unico spazio e’ stata creata una zona con letto matrimoniale, una piccola cucina fornita di tutto e con lavastoviglie, un bagno con ampia doccia e una veranda privata con ombrellone, sdraie e tavolino . Il trullo non e’ isolato ma posizionato in un area con altri 2 trulli adibiti ad affitti (un piccolissimo villaggio) . Di fronte al trullo vi e’ una pineta con area relax e tanto spazio per poter camminare .

My house is a typical house in Stones of Matera, partly carved into the rock and partly built in tuff. The spaces have been furnished with a hint of reference to the history of the peoples who have lived for centuries in these caves, without removing anything from the comfort that modernity has given us. At your disposal you have a warm and atmosphere environment where you can feel at home, as in the childhood casda where scents and colors will take you back in time.

The apartment, with a separate entrance, is located in the historic center and is completely renovated. With attention to detail, the loft is designed to enhance the contrast between ancient and modern, with living stone walls and exposed beams that blend into the industrial chic style. The space, equipped with every comfort, has a kitchen, TV, coffee machine, fiber WiFi A hot tub, inside a vault at the foot of the bed, offers guests moments of relaxation.

The cave

My accommodation is in the historic center of the country. It is only 10 km from Terme of Sorano, while 20 km from Bolsena Lake and Saturnia (spa). You'll love my place because it's bright, panoramic, clean, and welcoming. Suitable for couples, sole adventurers, families (with kids) and furry friends (pets). NB: if the reservation is for two people it means only one bed, for an extra bed it is necessary to book at least for 3 people.
