This place was OUTSTANDING 10/10 experience. Would insist on telling anyone I know who visits Costa Rica to stay here. Wonderful having the restaurant just a few steps from our door, and the surroundings were incredible- lots of wildlife sightings just on the property as well as tons of fresh fruit growing. Only down side is yes there are some bugs because you are in the jungle, but if you can get past that, it’s the perfect place to stay.

A good place to spend a quiet stay.

It's an amazing and very well-kept estate, with wonderful hosts who helped us wash our clothes, offered us delicious food and supported us in everything. We totally recommend it for a visit!

It is a place to clear, its pool is delicious. Both in and around the estate, you can see beautiful landscapes, natural sounds and you can walk enjoying the mountains and a rich river… I definitely recommend it, its own and sustainable style with nature, but above all that I liked most was how my pets had fun and tired of running and curious.

We were absolutely treated like royalty while at Cesar’s property. He has a completely bilingual team that acts as your personal concierge and travel consultants while you’re there. We were set up with our own personal taxi service and we even had available to us meal preparation and a chef.

The place is dreamy, full of nature and peace. The house has all the amenities that are needed, extremely clean and tidy. The gentleman who looks after the property is very friendly and nice as well.

If you wanna experience some time in a beautiful little cabin in the middle of farm country on the side of a beautiful volcano, this is a place for you. The surroundings are spectacular. The cabin has everything you need and more. We loved it and we will be back.

I needed a break from the bustle of traveling all day and negotiating San Jose - this was perfect! In the Esmeralda rain forest, high above San Jose it is cooler than the valley below. So, hiking in the park was a challenge for me but got me to stretch my legs as well. And Eric’s family is so easy to work with - Muchas Gracias and Pura Vida!!

A very quiet place, a typical cabin with everything you need to spend quiet afternoons

Amazing overnight stay at Kevin David and Muriela's . We arrived at 3pm and they took the time to show us around their property. We had booked dinner and breakfast and these moments of sharing will remain engraved in our memory. They were welcoming, and did everything to make us feel at home. Seeing the sloths getting up was a magical moment. As for the accommodation, the cabin is well-equipped, we slept like babies. What a nice surprise on our route , Max 35 minutes from the shuttle to Tortuguero. Kevin David and muriela if you come to our place, we would love to host you. Pura vida ❤️

Very nice little cottage style home inside an apartment building very close to the center of Cartago. We loved the wooden details and second floor of the house. I would definitely come back.

The house is located in a very quiet and safe place, where many wild birds can be observed. We were greeted with the well-equipped house, everything you need for cooking, even enough firewood to use the grill as well as to make a fire pit. The bedroom is cozy and we have enough blankets available. The balcony is spacious and makes you want to stay there for hours to rest. The property has an extensive green area which gives you privacy. It is a great place to enjoy a very quiet and safe place.

We loved our stay here! It felt like such a unique little spot - fun to be on a coffee farm with horses and cattle in view. The place itself was cozy and I love how it was decorated. I definitely could have stayed longer. The option to buy breakfast in the morning was such a nice treat. Sound travels easily here - you could easily hear the crickets, birds and horses outside. I didn't really mind even though I usually prefer it quiet. Overall, great stay and a fun and unique place!

I stayed at this cabaña for one night and had a wonderful experience overall. The place was cozy, clean, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful—perfect for a quick escape. The only small issue was that the instructions to get there could have been a bit clearer, but once I arrived, everything was smooth. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable getaway!

A beautiful property in a high location overlooking the volcano. It is definitely more for adventurers, the access is very steep and at least we had no cell phone network and no LTE for 10 km around the house. However, the Wi-Fi was satisfactorily fast. We would come back 😊

The cabin is in an incredible place, surrounded by nature and with a lot of privacy. Ideal for a getaway from the city without having to handle a lot of distance. Approx 10-15 min from downtown Barva.

The photographs in the application do not do justice to the beauty of the cabin, I went with my husband and my two dogs and we had a wonderful time, it feels a lot of peace.. My vehicle is a car and with care I was able to access the place without problem, only the last kilometer there was a bit of mud. I would definitely go there again. ✨️🙌🏻❤️ The cabin is clean and safe.
