Martha was a lovely host, we would definitely recommend. She lent us bicycles which were about 15-20 min to the beach, if not, you can grab a collectivo nearby (just ask Martha) for 20 pesos for 2 people. Her adorable dogs were always around o greet us. The accommodation was exactly what we needed: a comfortable bed, with good A/C, and there was even a TV with Netflix, a comfy hammock, and a coffee machine. I suggest bringing an eye mask for the morning sun. The host will greet you for check in and check out.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Juan and Maria's. It fit us just right as a family of 4 with 2 girls aged 12 and 5. The pool was a perfect haven for the girls and was private and clean and extra refreshing. This little neighbourhood hugs a highway but it doesn't overwhelm with highway noise and it's a perfect mix of having the right proximity to the part of town that is inhabited by Puerto Morelos locals as well as being a quick trip over to the coast and the beaches and village. Extraordinarily picturesque and relaxed, Puerto Morelos is a great family getaway and one we have built cherished memories in. I met Juan and he was a true gentleman - thoughtful, kind, and generous. Don't hesitate to stay here if it looks like a fit for you.

Jessica and her beautiful place are wonderful! She met us when we got there. The whole property is a gorgeous garden with greenery and flowers. The pool is sparkling and the house is clean and decorated so nice! It is easy to walk to dozens of little shops and restaurants. There are fruit shops and tortilleria nearby. I recommend that you walk up the main street to get tortas of cochinita in the morning. At night you can walk to a hundred places... but practically next door is El Picudo seafood restaurant. This is such a cute place and the hostess makes your stay comfortable. I couldn't ask for more.. oh yeah, the water pressure is great too!
