We stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved our time. The place is tucked away in a quiet and peaceful spot near Manali, which was exactly what we were looking for. It felt like a perfect escape from the usual noise and rush of city life. The house had a beautiful rustic charm to it—simple and authentic. Everything felt warm and welcoming. The view from the property was stunning, with mountains all around and fresh air that made time slow down. We spent hours just sitting and soaking it all in. One of the things we appreciated the most was how involved the entire host family was. They were kind, helpful, and always around when we needed something, without being intrusive. The food was very delicious and homely. This stay was everything we hoped for—peaceful, cozy, and memorable. We’ll definitely be coming back again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a calm and heartfelt experience in the mountains!

Rachna Cottage is a lovely and peaceful mountain stay, perfect for remote work and relaxation. The surrounding nature, well-kept property, and homely food add to the charm. Would definitely recommend for a nature-focused, homely retreat! Pros: Great place to work remotely from the mountains, with good power backup. Scenic walking trails nearby for enjoying the serene mountain views. Property is well maintained and clean, surrounded by ample greenery. Long running balcony on three sides. Spacious kitchen – we cooked most of our meals comfortably. Nearby supermart (about 800 meters) for daily essentials. The in-house kitchen serves simple delicious, homely food – worth trying! Provision of washine machine for laundry just downstairs. Cons: Balcony can be a bit noisy during the day due to proximity to the highway. Washroom is not attached, but right outside the door (clearly informed at the time of booking by the host), but can be slightly inconvenient at night.

This place was super nice and amazing to stay. A little walk away from main market. Its supercute and the host was amazing.

From always preferring hotels for a stay to booking a cottage for the first time via Airbnb. Whole lot of anxiety, if it will be as mentioned or not. Honestly no regrets. The way the property owner has maintained the property, take care of their guests and make sure they get what they might have imagined while booking the cottage is incredible. They have kept each and every details in mind to provide the comfort to their guests, right from providing all amenities to making available umbrellas too.smallest details in mind which include keeping umbrellas. Dhajji was an amazing experience combined with privacy, comfort and serenity. We would like thank the hosts for their wonderful hospitality and recommend anyone visiting naggar to stay here to get a khatkuni experience. This place is worth visiting and experiencing nature and treks within the property as well as visiting temples across naggar and Kullu. This is truly the valley of gods, from inspirational people to powerful temples, quite a mesmerizing experience!!

I can’t believe that this place was so much more than you can see on Airbnb. Words and pictures can’t describe the beauty and serenity of this home. Taking a shower in the first floor bathroom was like being in a warm spa. That shower is basically a sun room and my husband and I couldn’t have been in more love with it. The host is the nicest person and is so open to sharing numbers and info for local restaurants and activities. The nursery next to the home is filled with plants and succulents that you won’t find at that roadside stand near your house so definitely take back a few plants if you can. This house is a whimsical fairytale so definitely set aside some time from your trip to enjoy this property as well.
