Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Joplin

It was nice. Beds were comfortable. Nice big back yard, my dog loved it he ran and played and slept good that nigjt!

the stay was great, hosts have put a lot of work into the place and it's very nice. Hosts were very accommodating, I'll definitely stay again.

We had a great stay! The place was exactly as described. Clean, cozy, and in a great location. Check-in was easy, and the host was communicative and helpful throughout. Everything we needed was available, and we felt right at home. Definitely would stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable place. Thanks again!

Really nice, cozy and comfortable home to stay in for vacation or work

We really enjoyed staying at Michael and Sarah’s cottage! It was perfect for our young family, with great toddler toys and books. It was clean, organized, and easy to find what we needed around the house. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a place to land for a few nights in the Joplin area.

This is a beautiful little home in a country setting would recommend if you want peace and quiet in the country and plenty of yard for kids to play in or just passing through this is a gem to get 10/10

The place is a great place to stay. it is nice and quiet out in the country, yet close enough to town for shopping and eating out. Jennifer is a great host and responds very quickly to any concern you may have. I highly recommend this place and I will stay here every chance I get when in the area.

Kristi’s place was gorgeous and just what we needed on our family road trip. The space was clean and there were snacks and bottled water left for us, which our teens promptly gobbled up. We took some of Kristi’s guidebook advice and ate at a couple of the restaurants, which were delicious. It was a great stay and we’d stay again if we travel through the area.

A cute little place! The way it was decorated was very nice and the location was easy to find. Peaceful neighborhood and close to downtown for food and entertainment. Alisha was a nice and helpful host

This cabin was exactly as pictured, and exactly what my husband and I were looking for to have an escape from work. We enjoyed the firepit (David had wood and kindling at the ready), lounge chairs, and eating outdoors. We love birding, and our bird app identified dozens of species around the property. The place was sparkling clean. We enjoyed the windows surrounding the space, and spent time reading and watching movies on the Smart TV. WiFi was more than adequate. If you forget something, there is a Dollar General Market just down the road. There was produce, along with plenty of grocery items. We went to the George Washington Carver National Memorial and walking trail, which we both loved. We also went to Grand Falls south of Joplin. We had lunch at Undercliff Grill - fun! There is plenty to see and do in the area! David was fantastic! Responsive and friendly, but not pushy or hovering. We were able to meet him, and he is a great guy. We will be back! I already miss the river!

Awesome stay!! If you love being able to fish and enjoy peace and quiet it’s for you. The cabin has everything you need and is very nice and clean. Any questions for Marcus or Amy and they respond quickly. I can’t say enough good things about them or their place, planning on staying there again soon I loved it!!!

This cabin felt like home away from home. Can sleep a lot more people! We ended up only having my little family, and it was the best get away ever. We all left so much more relaxed. And the boys spent most of their time outside, my youngest boy LOVED the swing in the tree the best, we had two deer visit us everyday we were there. We had family Time around the fire! It didn’t even feel like an Airbnb but like a home. We felt right at home that we got so much relaxing and my little slept so peacefully. I hope we can come back soon because it was the best experience ever, we did the walking trail our last day there it was cute! But we accidentally hit a tick bed 😂 that sure brought us together! We got to check each other for ticks! We also got to enjoy a fun game of UNO! And a family night watching the gorge. Your kitchen it very well stocked with cooking things. It was an amazing weekend all in all! And it’s even better to have hosts that we could tellLove Jesus as much as we do!

Dustin was very responsive to all messages. The home was nice and in good shape. Nice view of the pond off the front porch gave the feeling you where out in the woods, but being so close to town for all your needs.

The cabin was just as seen on photos. And there was many cookware that we needed as well as seasoning and sauces. Outside the fire pit was great and had enough wood for us to enjoy campfires. My husband went and fished every day. He was successful at catching a fish. Beautiful and peaceful view.

We stayed at North Forty Lodge for my son’s graduation from Pitt State, and everything was fantastic! The home was better stocked than any Airbnb we've ever stayed at—every supply and staple you could think of was already there. The beds were super comfortable, and the loft setup gave both families their own space, which was perfect. The lodge itself is beautiful, peaceful, and has everything you need. Danny was a great host—responsive and welcoming. We only wish we could've stayed longer to enjoy more of the scenic outdoor areas of the property. Highly recommend!
