Virginie's accommodation is impeccable, clean, tidy, decorated with care. All in a small peaceful village, with magnificent stone buildings. The owners live right next door but the accommodation is completely independent. Free parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation. Very responsive owners, and appreciable flexibility on schedules. The owners are very welcoming. The castle of Ancy-le-Franc is very beautiful from the outside, we did not have time to visit it, but it is a few minutes from the accommodation. Note (even if it did not bother us, but it is worth knowing), access is via an external staircase (so housing not suitable in case of difficulties moving on stairs) and you have to go through the living room (where the sofa bed is) to go from the bedroom to the kitchen or to the sanitary facilities. No complete black in the living room. We will be happy to come back if the opportunity arises ❤️

Beautiful ‘gite’ next to the owner’s home. The pictures reflected the actual property so no unpleasant surprises! The owners were private and accessible when needed. The location of the home is very quiet in a small village so great for disconnecting, walking or biking and close to champgne and cremant houses! Would recommend - ideally for a family with small children or a couple as it’s less designed for 4 adults.

We felt right at home at this place. We were met in person by Marie-Hélène who showed us around the place. It’s a lovely and well-designed cabin and offers a great getaway for two. The surroundings are peaceful and medieval history is literally everywhere to be found which makes for great sightseeing. All in all a very charming short stay for us, not in the least because of our attentive host Marie-Hélène (thanks again for the great framboises!)

Christelle's setting is a haven of peace between two beautiful gardens, one of which is well shaded. It is well located in the pretty village of Cry, a stone's throw from the river and next to the Burgundy Canal. The site is conducive to walking or cycling. The house is well equipped and tastefully furnished. Christelle is an attentive host and full of good tips about the area. We had a lovely relaxing stay. Thanks for everything.
