Chalet holiday rentals in Jura Mountains

Our stay here was exceptional and the host was outstanding in her communication and assistance. After busy days it was wonderful to have a clean, quiet, comfortable place to relax in. I took many pictures from the deck of the beautiful mountain range. Kenzie went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.

We had a great weekend in Céline and Mickael's little chalet! Everything was perfect: flexible arrival, very well-equipped cottage, warm hosts, peaceful setting and magnificent view, prime location for discovering the region… we couldn't have dreamed better for our stay! Thank you :)

I stayed at Mark's incredible chalet for 4 weeks, and I couldn't be happier with the unforgettable experience. The location is even beyond what's described: the view of the Alps and the Rhone valley is so glorious it'll leave you breathless on a daily basis. So many properties emphasize a great view, but this is one of those rare times when reality is even better! The chalet itself is situated in a very quiet area and the house is virtually soundproof. Even with all the windows open, you'll rarely hear anything but the birds and the breeze. The chalet is very clean and modern, and the kitchen is a special treat -- experienced cooks will love it, nothing is lacking. It's also close to almost everything in Crans-Montana. Mark is a fantastic host. He was quick to answer all my questions, gave me recommendations, and was very easy and reasonable. That's a huge plus for any traveler. Overall, this was a memorable trip, due in large part to one of the best properties you will EVER rent.

Vincent’s chalet is very special - it’s located close to the main house, but very private. There are great hiking trails right in the back yard. The view of the Alps from the backyard is more than enough to enjoy every morning and evening. Architecturally, the chalet is noteworthy - the renovation was executed flawlessly, keeping many original details. At night, you can hear the babbling stream in the backyard. It’s removed, but only 15 mins from Chamonix. We were thrilled with our stay and would love to return sometime.

We stayed at Penny's for two and it was perfect! The mazot is so nice and beautiful. It is located at the edge of the road near the bus stop and is therefore very accessible. It is very quiet and was perfect for a retreat in nature. Penny advised us on the paths to take for hiking. In addition, there is a small stove and a BBQ that were ideal. We recommend it! 9.5/10 Review for Max Chalet Gimmelwald Max Chalet was perfect for our family of three—a fantastic base for a mountain getaway! Surroundings: Gimmelwald is stunning, with hiking right outside the door. We loved the Northface Trail and the easy gondola access to Mürren, Schilthorn, and the valley. Parking at Stechelberg was only $10/day. Entertainment: Hiking was our main activity—beautiful trails and mountain huts. Pension Gimmelwald and Mountain Hostel next door offer meals, drinks, and great pizza (8.5/10). Food: Dining options nearby, more in Mürren, and a grocery store for essentials to cook at Max. The House: Spacious, cozy, clean, with big windows framing epic views. Well-equipped kitchen, laundry room, and a great patio. Quiet at night (bring a fan for white noise). Floors creak but didn’t bother us. Host: Marianne was super responsive and helpful. Summary: We’d absolutely stay again—9.5/10! (We’ve never given a 10, so this is top marks from us!)

The landlord came out to the station, so it was so easy to move my luggage. I went with my mom and aunt, and the check-in and check-out were so easy. He explained everything one by one and showed me the way. It was such a perfect trip The accommodation was clean, and it was about a 5-minute walk to the terminal. There are a lot of beds, so I think a big family can come.

A stay in functional, very pleasant and impeccably clean accommodation, with a spectacular view of the valley. Caring and pleasant hosts, very attentive and at the same time very discreet, and always available for any requests. I highly recommend it and hope to return as soon as possible!!!!

If you are thinking of staying here, do it! This is an amazing home and somehow even better in person. It’s very close to the train station (we walked it with a baby and luggage and had no issue. No steep incline and mostly paved). Jacuzzi spa, sauna and laundry in the basement. Tucked away on a quiet street but right in the middle of town (next to the oldest hotel in zermatt). Marc was extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. This spot is more of a 5 star hotel with the extra space and private amenities. We would come back in a heartbeat. Beyond impressed. There’s a reason why the reviews are all glowing.

Perfect place for a group of people who want to go for a hike and relax afterwards. The view from the house is beautiful and the house has everything you need.

Everything was perfect. The place was extremely remarkably clean, the rooms in very good condition, the living room beautiful and the kitchen very well equipped. We really had a great time!

wonderful accommodation with a large, very pleasant garden

I can’t say enough nice things about Eric’s home! It is so close to the train station you can walk to / from with large luggage. The view is stunning, the house is pristine, and he has thought of absolutely everything and more than a guest would need. Everything is labeled and organized and I was impressed. He was so great to deal with and incredibly generous with his things (binoculars, chargers, phone, etc) I would say this is by far the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at.

If you have a big group. Please stay here. You won’t regret it. Actually I made it a point to come back early everyday to Francisco’s house to enjoy the view. The wine he recommended was excellent and especially good with the view.

Our stay at this stunning Airbnb in Iseltwald, Switzerland, was nothing short of magical! The location is breathtaking, nestled right by Lake Brienz with picture-perfect views that made every moment feel like a postcard. The home itself was cozy, impeccably clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was absolutely exceptional, going above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable. From thoughtful touches like local tips and a warm welcome to accommodating our needs with such care, they truly elevated our experience. The highlight was the incredible boat ride they arranged on the lake—gliding across the turquoise waters surrounded by mountains was a memory we’ll cherish forever. We can’t recommend this place highly enough—thank you for an extraordinary stay!

Had a great visit! The accommodation is as described, clean, well decorated and equipped. It immediately feels like home. The location is ideal for relaxing and recharging. I highly recommend this listing and will not hesitate to come back if the opportunity arises!

Beautiful views over looking the lake and the mountains. The hike up to the place is totally worth it and Gerard was a star for bringing the quad bike and transporting the luggage up.

Nice, small hut for those who want to spend a relaxing time in nature. It offered more than we expected from the pictures, but the real luxury is in the special location directly on the river. No bicycles, otherwise everything as described. Our dog loved it.

A perfect stay, quiet, at the foot of the lake. The setting is beautiful and the place is great. Very nice. Albane is very responsive and available. I keep the place in mind to come back!

We were allowed to spend a very nice week in the chalet of François as a family (2 adults, 2 children). François greeted us personally and showed us everything important in and around the chalet. He also gave us some tips for exploring the area. The chalet with the rooms, kitchen, bathroom were very clean and as described on the pictures. The view of the lake from the living room is great! On our departure day, François came by again, so we could do the check-out together and say goodbye to François personally. We enjoyed the week very much and recommend the chalet as a very nice place to spend nice days in and around it.
