The house is close to the forest, which is filled with beautiful lakes, and it is a 3-minute drive from Silkeborg's most beautiful lake, which you can see in the pictures. There is grass + outdoor areas, and the house has two bedrooms, a large living room + conservatory, kitchen, hallway, bathroom and toilet. There is WiFi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to enjoy peace, nature experiences, socializing and lovely conversations!

From the garden, you can enjoy the view of the castle lake. The cottage is 56 m2 and contains an entrance hall, new kitchen, bathroom, living room and two bedrooms with a total of four beds. There is a new 140x 200cm bed in the living room, as well as a loft with the possibility of 2 overnight guests. There is a private entrance, large wooden terrace and access to Ollerup lake and garden. You can borrow a rowing boat. You'll take a hot bath in the woods, gaze into the fire pit, wake up to the sound of the birds, drink your coffee next to a deer - all while using high-speed WiFi for your favourite Netflix show in the cozy queen size bed. With love, we made sure to use the space most efficiently to create the best experience for you. *Heated and warm in winter 🙂

Vidkærhøj

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗
