Magic Island: Cabin & Beach Sauna on Your Own Island

Welcome to experience of the unique Taikasaari, located in Väärinjärvi, Ruovesi! The island's cottage and beach sauna were built in the 1950s and renovated with modern amenities. The entire 2000 m² island is for your private use, without any visual contact with other cottages or houses. The cottage has electricity, but no running water. The wood sauna has carrying water and a water pot for heating the water. The sauna terrace has direct access to the lake. The toilet is an outdoor toilet. Please note that the property is not suitable for small children.

Lovely apartment on the shore of the lake

Stay in my personal, slightly 70s-style, two-room apartment with a wood-burning sauna near the center of Orivesi. The yard has its own beach and jetty, and in winter the adjacent beach also has the city's ice swimming spot. As a special feature, there is an outdoor fireplace where you can warm up by the fireplace even in cooler weather. There is accommodation for up to 6 people. I live in the apartment with my children every other week, every other week the apartment is empty and there is an opportunity to rent it to you :).

Log cabin by the lake

From Helsinki-Vantaa Airport by train to the lake shore? Log cabin on a beautiful detached house plot. Possibility to swim, rent a wood-fired sauna, kayak (2pcs), sup board (2pcs) and rowing boat. The lake and the adjacent rapids area are popular with fishermen. The Birgitta trail hiking trail and the Lempäälä canoeing trail run alongside. 2 km to the cross-country ski trails. 1.2 km to the train station, from which you can go to Tampere (12 min) and Helsinki (1h20min). Ideapark shopping center 7km.

Villa Myllyssä majoitut rauhallisessa ja tyylikkäässä ympäristössä. Vuonna 2024 valmistunut huvila sijaitsee Näsijärven Paarlahdessa, vain 30 min ajomatkan päässä Tampereen keskustasta. Kohteeseen pääsee myös bussilla. Huvilassa kaikki nykypäivän mukavuudet, kuten sisävessa ja suihku. Majoittumaan mahtuu 4 aikuista ja yksi lapsi. Rantasauna on käytössä lisämaksusta (25€). Palju (joka on myös lisämaksullinen 25€) on käytössä kesäaikaan (1.5-30.9).

This small and compact apartment is located near good services, beautiful trecking paths and lakes with great swimming. Even in the winter you will have a chance to try cold dipping in a lake with a sauna. You will reach Tampere city in 20 minutes by tram. There is no kitchen but the apartment is equipped for making coffee/tea, preparing breakfast and heating up food. A peaceful location on 7th floor. Well suited for remote working and studying.

New spacious studio

The new studio has everything you need for a longer stay. The cozy apartment is located in the vicinity of Hervanta's services, along excellent public connections. The housing association also has a sauna available for +20€ per month. From the apartment, you can easily get to the city center of Tampere by public transport from the nearby bus and tram stop in about a quarter of an hour. You can park your car on the street on Tieteenkatu.
