Had a wonderful stay in Kaikōura! The scenery was absolutely stunning — waking up to mountain and ocean views was unforgettable. The location made it super easy to get into the town centre, and the place itself had everything we needed: clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Would definitely stay again!

The house was clean and spacious for 6 persons. Just a little bit of noise from the highway, but it didn’t really bother us. Location was great and close to the restaurants and shops nearby!

Great visit to Wacky Stays, the animal feeding was a really nice bonus to have and Holly was so welcoming and gave great instructions on everything. Beds were comfortable and just what we needed after a long drive up to Kaikoura, was very quiet even though being a working farm. Highly recommend staying here. Next time will try the yurt or the train carriage.

Kevin's House Truck was great - funky, comfortable, well equipped and had everything we needed. Location is great, close to Kaikōura and all the major tours and activities. It's a shame we only had one night to stay here because we could have easily stayed longer.

Loved our time there, such a great spot. The spa was a nice surprise. Worth every cent.

Leanne was a fantastic host! She has a beautiful home/oasis right by the ocean that everyone should come and enjoy! From the beach out front, to the large deck, morning and afternoon trains passing by (which by the way weren’t that noisy inside) and even the spa! All of it was exactly as we expected! Leanne was prompt in communicating and ensured we had everything we needed! We will definitely be coming back for another stay soon!

Jennifer's place home away home. Felt so comfortable away from home. Each and every thing, she has given importance for the comfort of residents. One need not worry about any thing. She is a wonderful host, waited for us to reach the place and given all the information needed for us and left. She has maintained that place so neat and comfy. We would love to return to Kaikura and stay in Jennifer's place and also recommend this place for every one. Home away home. Wonderful break fast with lots of variety and no one is left out in that spread. She has even taken care of small details for us, when we reached so late. Our stay at the bungalow near Kaikōura was truly memorable. The house is spacious and well-designed, perfect for groups or families looking for comfort and a bit of luxury. One of the highlights was the spa/jacuzzi—it was the perfect way to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The kitchen is located upstairs and opens out to a balcony with breathtaking views—snow-capped mountains on one side and the sea on the other. It made cooking and dining feel like a special experience every time. The large living hall gave us plenty of room to spread out and enjoy time together. The surrounding garden is also worth mentioning. We were lucky to pick fresh strawberries straight from the plant and enjoy Feijoas during our stay—such a treat! This place is ideal for those who love nature, space, and a peaceful escape. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Kaikōura and want a home that offers both comfort and a connection to the beautiful local environment.
