We stayed at Lorna's place for our trip to the Poor Knights. Absolutely perfect spot to stay and explore around Tutukaka. Well set up with everything you could need. Would definitely stay again!

Great little stay at the sleep out. Erika was very responsive to our questions. Kids loved being so close to the playground! Perfect for a little adventure.

Great, knowledgeable host. pointed us int he right directions for great fishing locations, which was what we were there to do and has the best view. I could almost launch the boat from the deck. A+++

Unfortunately a cyclone rolled through while I was staying at Vicki‘s place. I got to walk around the first day that I was there and enjoyed the house for an evening, but the power went out so I had to cut my stay short. When I woke up, Vicki had left pancakes and hot water for me to make coffee. She also gave me a refund for my second night. She had gone above and beyond to make my stay as enjoyable as it could be under the circumstances.

We loved our night with Anne and her husband, they were so nice and flexible with us arriving later than expected. The place is smaller than it looks but very comfy and has everything you need to rest and cook something easy/fast. Thank you guys, for everything!

Such a great accommodation with privacy, wonderful outlook over the hills and the bush, dog friendly, and attention to detail with most things thought of and so appreciative of what was offered. If you are seeking a getaway with privacy and amazing outdoor baths with stars above or the wonderful gardens, this is it.. Great lunch at the Parua Tavern before check in and out to Ocean Beach for a dog walk. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable little place with a ton of nice little touches like artwork, good appliances, comfortable outdoor seating. Very close to the beach and the estuary. Even if you aren't a dog person, the dogs are so well behaved and quiet, they occasionally will visit you and you can give them a pat if you like.

Of of the best AirBnB stays ever! Only one hour drive from Auckland Central and all of a sudden we are in this wonderful fairytale-like place. We had such a great time with our family without any worries and problems, and coming back home today I am dreaming about coming back to Tracy's farmhouse in the near future. First of all, accomodation was MUCH bigger than we thought it was - two huge living areas, big kitchen and separate dining. Second storey had two bedrooms with ensuites each and a private lounge., We also were pleasantly surprised with its privacy - it felt we were the only people in the middle of a huge farm with plenty of safe space for kids and dog to run around. From the moment we walked into the property I started feeling peacefulness and a relief. As we later found - the property is filled with crystals, there are beautiful meditation spots. Tracy put her heart and soul into creating this place and this could definitely be felt. The biggest surprise was to have three nights of full night sleeps. Our youngest daughter (2.5 y.o) usually wakes up 2-5 times every single night, so I forgot how it feels to have a full night sleep. When we stayed at Tracy's farmhouse, she was sleeping without waking up. My husband also has difficulties in sleeping "not in our bed", but at Tracy's he had no problems at all - in fact, I had troubles getting him up :)) Thank you so much, Tracy!

Lovely to be met by Kat as we entered their property, very clean and cosy. Awesome access to the beach which was just fantastic. Lovely hosts....highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our time here. The shower is wonderful and it's great to have a fridge that's a bit bigger than most. Ian was a great host

Already planning our next weekend away here! It was such a peaceful and private spot and John was super communicative via messages before the trip, and introduced himself when we got to the property :) it was perfect for a weekend away from Auckland, with beautiful views and a short drive from the beach or Mangawhai town! Thanks again John, we’ll definitely be back :)

Accommodation was great for a weekend away, the house was spacious and clean. Beautiful view from the deck with birdlife all around.

Review: Amazing BnB with lovely hosts who gave us awesome info about the surrounding area & good places to eat. Great people to chat with & extremely welcoming & kind. The BnB itself was stunning & we even found some Kawakawa to pick & take home with us. We loved seeing all the native wildlife as well as the cute kunekune who graze nearby the studio. 10/10 we would definitely go again!

Lovely modern place in a great location. Comfortable and spacious, would happily stay there again. Friendly host which made it easy to get settled in. Good spot for local hikes and only a short drive into Whangarei.

Gemma tastefully decorated unit is just perfect. Responsive communication and unit is just as described and the most comfortable bed! Highly recommended for any length of stay.

We had a wonderful stay here. It was a lovely place, that was perfect for a weekend away. Lovely owners, and friendly dogs! We would 100% recommend this place, and would come back again.

This was our second stay. Our previous stay was about 3 months ago. Would definitely stay here again. Denise and Craig are wonderful friendly people and the home is quite comfortable, peaceful and quiet. My husband visited the sheep every morning and evening. We looked for the rabbits every time we drove the driveway and evening saw them in the backyard a few times.

We had a great stay at Tania & Steve’s place, unfortunately it was only for one night. The studio was quiet and well equiped with everything we needed. It was clean, nicely furnished and included little extras like home baked bread, cereals, fruit, milk & butter. Both Tania and Steve were very friendly and their communication was top notch. We would highly recommend.

Beautiful property to stay at with generous, attentive and friendly hosts. Loved the little extras offered and fresh orange juice from the orchard! Lovely accommodation with everything you need, yummy comfy beds and a massive TV if that's your thing. Hard to beat on a beautiful morning when it's bathed in early sunlight. Take your shoes off for grounding and wander around the orchard. Lovely. Won't stay anywhere else when visiting Whangarei unless it's already booked! Booo. 😂 Highly recommend you stay here. 15min drive to town centre. Easy Peasy

Rudi’s place was a delight. Beautiful quiet little cottage with great views over the hillside. Rudi met us as we arrived and explained everything even down to how we could feed the sheep at the bottom of the garden. Very clean with nice little touches … chocolates, coffee/tea/milk ….. bathroom toiletries and a welcome message. Plenty of attractions and beaches within driving distance. Thoroughly recommend this place, wish we could have stayed longer.
