When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

Our wonderful holiday property "Dabas Mājas" ("Nature Home") is the ideal place for your family's dream retreat. The apartment (75 km2) is located in a 19th century house 5mins walk from the Old Town. The windows face the picturesque Castle Park (Cēsu Pils parks). The place has a bedroom, a combined kitchen-living room and a veranda that offers a romantic sunset view. (Veranda is warm only May–>Sept). Wooden floors. Central heating. Treehouse Čiekurs(cone) is located 3 km from city Cēsis,90 km from capital Riga and located in Gauja National Park,surrounded by the pine forest.A great place to enjoy nature at its city noise,no rush,just peace.The nearest shop ~3 km. Houses with an air conditioner(heating and cooling). WC located in the separate house on the ground.You can take sauna or hot tub (available for extra payment) and take a swim in the lake. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers.

Essentially it’s Latvian Bathhouse with beautiful view to share with your close ones. If you want to you will have chance to experience traditional sauna (additional + 60 EUR, there is also outside hot tub available + 60 EUR and take a fresh swim in a clear pond next to bathhouse. Surrounding has view of a larger lake and if you like even take a boat ride or do fishing. Host house is 80 meters away, so you will be able to have your privacy. Experience Latvia!
