Each of our guest units has an independent balcony so you can enjoy the beautiful sea view of Kaohsiung Port! Kaohsiung is, with over 2.7 million inhabitants, the second most populated city in Taiwan after New Taipei and is located in the south of the island. Kaohsiung is known for its harbor, although more for commercial than tourism reasons. Hence it is also known as the Harbor Capital (港都) of Taiwan. Its year-round fine weather and the low cost of living makes Kaohsiung the place to visit. The district is filled with seafood restaurants selling freshly caught seafood which can be prepared right after you pick it out. Cijin is connected to the rest of Kaohsiung City by underwater tunnels, but the transporation of choice is one of the many ferries that traverse the harbor. Fare for the ferry ride is NT$15 per person. The street that goes straight from the ferry has about two blocks of snack stands, as well as seafood restaurants near the end. There is also a plaza with a fountain and a beach at the end of the street. If you rent a bike (either before or after the ferry ride), there is a nice coastal path that goes south along the beach. Bike rental for a day is typically NT$100, but can be as low as NT$30 for a fixed-gear bike rented just outside Sizihwan KMRT station. Going a short ways north will lead you to the lighthouse and the fort, which are located on a hill with great views of the city, the harbor, and the ocean. The area is especially crowded on weekends with many visitors bringing their entire family along.

Whether you are planning an in-depth exploration and leisurely tour, or a local snack tour, you may want to stay overnight with your family and friends, so that after your trip, you can return to the Shuiyu Fish A House, with comfortable bedding, a quiet environment, and new hardware, so that the warm four-grass house can enter a relaxing and deep rest, and feel as if you are back home. Shuiyu A House is a newly built open house with a restaurant on the first floor and an accommodation area on the second and third floors. It offers a complete package of accommodation services. The bedding in the guest room is placed in a five-star hotel grade to ensure that guests can sleep comfortably and safely (the back balcony on the first floor and the fourth floor are our private space). Cleaning and disinfection using DUSKIN series products; Tesla charging station is available. To ensure the safety of the host and guests, a total of 4 surveillance cameras are installed in the hostel, one at the entrance of the road roller door, one at the reception area (garage), one at the back balcony on the first floor and one on the fourth floor. The accommodation activity space ensures complete privacy. In addition, the entire building has basic fire safety considerations, emergency lighting and smoke detection in the room, and fire extinguishers in the stairwell. It is normal to have a slippery feeling when bathing with a sand filter and soft water system installed in the entire building for epidemic prevention. Sunshine Island is located next to the ancient city of Hengchun Town, next to Hengchun Old Street, and in the center of Hengchun City. It is a 5-minute walk from Hengchun Transfer Station and 1 minute from Cape No. 7 Aga's Home. Transportation is convenient. The Hengchun Night Market is right at the door on Sundays. There are large supermarkets, 7-11, Family Mart, Gongrong Park, and a bus stop nearby. There is a private parking lot. The nearest Nanwan Beach is a 10-minute drive away, and Kenting Main Street is a 15-minute drive away.
