Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Kapiti Coast District

Staying at Chris’s Airbnb was a truly wonderful experience. The home was spotless, beautifully styled, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at ease. Every detail felt thoughtful and welcoming — it was clear a lot of care had gone into making the space feel like a home away from home. But what made the stay truly memorable was Chris himself. From the beginning, his communication was warm, clear, and prompt. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. You can really tell when someone loves being a host — and Chris absolutely does. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. If you’re considering booking — do it. You’ll be in great hands and will leave with a smile. Thank you again, Chris — I look forward to returning someday!

Blackwood Luxury Hideaway was a perfect location for our group of 4 to stay for three nights whilst we attended a wedding in the area. Janine was super helpful in answering our pre-arrival questions and having the rooms set up to meet our sleeping requirements. The home was beautifully presented, and a lot of thought has gone into the decor / linen / kitchen utensils. The indoor spaces meant we had room to spread out and the day bed became a favorite spot for reading in the sun. The separate areas for outdoor seating where all well used to take in the stunning rural views. And the outdoor spa was a hit and had towels provided for it. The 1.5 bathrooms were very useful when your travel with 4 adults! They were lush with rain shower and beautiful amenities / towels. We would certainly stay again when we come back to visit the area. We had a great long weekend here, really well set up for groups and families. The kids enjoyed the outdoor area and loved being able to walk down to the beach.

We spent Xmas and new year here. The house has a great outlook over Kapiti Island and there is a comfortable homey lounge with a nice indoor/outdoor flow. The Pohutakawa’s next door were in bloom. We had the grandkids over and they loved the spa pool. There is a mezzanine off one of the bedrooms with an awesome amount of Lego. So, heaven for kids to go up there and have a bit of a play. Huge selection of board games etc and Texas Holdem poker was a hit with our crew. The oven takes a bit of a fiddle and a couple of go’s to get the hang of it. The driveway can be a challenge. We were mainly here to catch up with family, but enjoyed some of the local sights , including the car museum and the Barry Hadfield Nikau forest. Carolin is responsive and overall a great time was had by all.

We absolutely loved staying here! The house was perfectly set up, with all the mod cons you would ever want and need. Especially in the kitchen. The house was beautifully clean and the beds and couches were exceptionally comfortable. And the Spa was absolutely glorious, nice and hot and ready to go, but also freshly cleaned. We has the best weekend. So close to the beautiful beach, and wonderful coffee and brunch spots. 10/10. I would love to return!

An amazing place to stay, recommended to all! Perfect for a family of four. The location is really close to the beach, it’s nice and peaceful and they offer a bunch of items like bodyboards and balls etc to use at the beach. We will definitely be making another booking to stay there in the future.

Very good location, awesome facilities for a big family, 3 levels to enable separate sleeping areas with a bathroom on each level which provides privacy. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful week at Tess's place. It's a fantastic home for a family with kids - ours loved the back garden, the rabbits and the chickens, and the playhouse provided hours of entertainment and the house was perfect for spreading out on the rainy days. It is beautifully decorated, homely and was well-equipped with everything we needed for our time in Raumati, as well as being just across the road from the beach. A perfect place for a summer break!

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. The place was warm and cosy, with lots to do and space to spread out. Sarah was lovely to deal with - clear communication and instructions.

We had a fantastic stay! The hot tub was ready and warm on arrival, which is a rare treat as it’s often an extra cost and slow to heat up elsewhere. The house was clean, tidy, and spacious, with hotel-quality linen and towels that made it feel more like a boutique stay than someone else’s home. The location is perfect. An easy walk to the town square with a supermarket, cafés, restaurants, and a playground for the kids. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing family getaway. Check-in was seamless and communication with Tania was smooth and easy. Would definitely stay again!

Had a lovely stay at Kim’s cabin. Enjoyed the garden, the bath, the random books selection as well. Everything was clean and very cute. Love the small attentions too. Waked to the recommended cafe which was really nice. The Otaki Beach market was nice for a stroll on Sunday morning. Lots of places to see in the area! Thank you Kim!

Such lovely hosts , friendly, thoughtful, and really went the extra mile. They checked in with us when the weather turned and brought extra firewood to keep us cosy, plus a surprise some home-baked cookies which absolutely made our day. Felt really well looked after, would definitely stay again!

My husband and I stayed at Joanne’s place for a weekend getaway. It was perfect for us! We loved the cabin vibe with all the wood, the comfortable bed, the fireplace and spacious bathroom. The location was great, very peaceful and in company of dozens of birds in the morning and sheep grazing nearby. Also the night sky visibility is unbeatable. What a delight to watch the stars on the wooden patio wrapped in super soft blankets! With Greytown 15 min away, Castlepoint 1h15 min away and Mount Holdsworth trailhead 30 min away, this was the prefect spot to visit Wairarapa. We will happily come back!
