100 on a scale of 1 to 10! This superbly designed home has everything you'd need for a restful haven after exploring West Cork. It's close to St. Gobnait's Well, and Ballyvourney is just a bit farther down the road (check out the bookstore An Gadaí Dubh if you're in the town). Highly recommend!

This is one of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed in. It's absolutely lovely- like a fairy-tale cottage, with incredible attention to details. A delightful bonus: the furry friends! We loved everything about our stay and only wish we had booked more days. Huge thanks to Siobhan and Barry for welcoming us into their beautiful home.

This was a lovely retreat. Stunning views over the river and mountains. The area was lovely and quiet, and very well kept. The kitchen and sitting area are very spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. It’s within easy distance to the town centre and perfect for day trips to beautiful spots such as Derreen Gardens. I would highly recommend.

A beautiful home with a fantastic location and view. Gretta was a delightful hostess with great suggestions for dining and things to see. She and William were a delight to talk with. She kindly brought us some lovely bread and delicious jam which we devoured. Highly recommend staying there for it's peaceful setting and easy access to the Ring of Kerry. Certainly deserving of a repeat visit.

The boathouse is even better than you think it will be. Beautifully decorated, with lovely light, full of thoughtful touches. The views are wonderful. We loved the outdoor seating and the bench up on the hill. The photos of the scenery are not just of the surrounding area, this is the land that Amiee and Joe maintain. One of the best parts of our holiday was walking the trails. The general area is also fantastic and there's lots to do. Amiee and Joe are very welcoming and gave us lots of tips. If you want a relaxing place to stay that's immersed in nature while also feeling luxurious, don't hesitate. A truly special place.

The absolute best two nights of our two week trip! A charming little cottage set near all the sights we planned on seeing in Killarney! In the two months from the point of booking until our stay, I had forgotten what I had booked. As we drove the nearby hills and countryside, I commented that a cottage with a fireplace would be perfect and that is exactly what we got! It was clean, inviting, and relaxing! The fireplace was so peaceful after hiking. The cottage cat, Oreo, was adorable! We were too happy to have him visit us in the evenings and mornings for a snack and a rest with us in front of the fire. He loves flopping wherever for pets. Hearing the dairy cows come in for milking on our last morning added to the experience. John, the host, left some of their yogurt and milk for us in the fridge! It was delicious! The best creamiest yogurt I've had! Truly an amazing stay! If we ever visit again, we will most definitely book with Helen's Cottage again!

We stayed 3 nights in June 2025 with 4 adults. The property and surroundings are amazing. Peaceful countryside setting but with modern amenities. We very much enjoyed the outdoor sitting area and small gas BBQ during the long summer evenings. Marie was friendly and always responsive, even with simple problems (like how to lock the front door). The kitchen was large and well equipped with capsule coffee machine and a nice view of the MacGillycuddy's Reeks. The bedrooms were comfortable with very nice comforters. There was a pellet stove in the living room that we didn't use - as well as TV and WiFi. Bathrooms were modern. Killarney is about a 20-25 minute drive, and Marie provides a list of local restaurants. We instead grilled steaks and enjoyed the views. A great place for the views and easy access to Dunloe Gap / Ring of Kerry / Dingle. A great alternative to staying in Killarney / Kenmare / Tralee.

Rory was an excellent host. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome including some fresh scones, apples, bread, milk, butter and jam. This was very appreciated by us! The fireplace made the stay extra warm and cozy. We would recommend this AirBnB for anyone looking for a nice getaway!

We had a great time at Ken's place! It's very calm and peaceful. Ken made us feel at home right away. The location is very convenient, just a short drive away from wonderful beaches, spectacular cliff views and Dingle town. We also appreciated having a little kitchen to prepare breakfast or dinner. Would highly recommend staying with Ken! And don't forget to check out his beautiful artwork.

Great location - amazing sea views is the name of the second floor apartment in her home and it’s true. It was a beautiful location with which to explore Dingle peninsula. Little village just a block from her house with a pub, plus a 15 minute drive into Dingle. Hostess left us some eggs, butter and bread which was a lovely touch. Water pressure was pretty weak but otherwise the home was perfect.

Clean, cute, and cozy! This was an ideal spot for a great starting point into the Ring of Kerry. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Patrick met us when we arrived and was so helpful, giving us loads of local tips on what to see & do. The cottage was just as described and in a great location at top of town - just a short walk to the pubs! The view is amazing and nice to have outdoor seating for the sunshine. We would have loved to stay for longer.

William and Joanne were exceptional hosts and their home a great place to stay, clean, comfortable and with everything we could need. It was perfect for Inch Strand, which we went to most days. Dingle and Killarney were also easy to get to, including the stunning Slea Head drive. William was also great for recommending where to get a nice pint! I know that we will be heading back to Kerry in the future and Grouse Lodge will definitely be the first place we try and book. Thanks William and Joanne!

Wonderful stay, huge bedroom with extremely comfortable linens and great mattress…even an electric blanket (we didn’t bed it). Helen had left us some basic groceries to make our stay start off easy. We were also able to pick fresh herbs and lettuce from the garden…what a bonus! Great friendly host with a lovely apartment, love to stay again.

A “must” to stay at! Julie was the ultimate host! Any request was not an issue for her. The place was spotlessly clean, with easy to use amenities. It looked lovely and it felt lovely! We did not want for anything! It was an easy 30 minute stroll to the town centre too. Highly recommended!

A cosy but spacious little nest surrounded by gorgeous scenery The location is absolutely fantastic as it is so close to the town center of Killarney, the entrance to the ring of Kerry and an hour away from Dingle, which was our next stop Mike and Sinead were the most amazing hosts as they provided us with lots of information and recommendations Highly recommend

Absolutely loved our stay here! Very accessible to all the pubs and food Killarney has to offer (less than 5 min walk) and was on a quiet street. Parking was very easy with a huge lot right next to the entrance of the apartment complex. You do have to pay to park between 8:30-18:30, but it was fairly cheap. Instructions to get inside were very clear, and the manual had step by step instructions for all amenities (including how to heat water for a shower). This place came with everything we needed including a fan for at night! Would absolutely recommend this place!!!

What can we say . We got there very late on the Friday night well it was after midnight night . Where we were meet by a very pleasant host . Showed us around where we were staying . Very clean and warm even give us some milk for a cuppa. The places is set in a beautiful setting .

one of the most beautiful spots on the planet, the pics are nice, but it's even more breathtaking in person! I'd love to return and I absolutely recommend! it's not expensive in my opinion considering...
