Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Kennebec River

Great location. Woke up to the sounds of birds. very responsive. I would have given it a 5 star all the way, David was amazing and responded in a very timely manner. But, the turn over service could have been much better. The previous guest left a wine bottle in the automatic fridge ice dispenser and it was unfounded until my family found a large peice of glass in their drink, serious hazard to drink glass. Should have been spotted by the turn over service but, who would check the ice maker for a bottle a wine? I understand that. Very uncommon and unfortunate for us. David responded in a very fast manner and gave us options to accommodate the situation. I would have left a 5 star if this was the only thing but everything was so unorganized in the kitchen, they had everything but nothing made sense to why it was there. Sink didn't drain. There were also stains on the sheets and a pizza box left by the fridge that wasn't ours. Little things but the turn over service was a let down.

Enjoyed our stay very much! Lovely location on the water. Some white traffic noise but worth it watching the boats and wildlife! Comfy bed. We slept very well. Well-stocked kitchen. The location is perfect for lots of little day trips. Our only disappointment was the size of the smallest room. It’s very tiny. Great for a child but pretty tight for our adult son. Host was attentive. We will be back!

Perfect weekend retreat for a small family with a young one. Close to downtown, museum, and the firepit was so nice at night. 5 stars all around and will return in the future. Thanks Phillip!

This was my 5th time going there and I love it! The house is so cozy & very clean. The property is large and the view is breathtaking over looking the river. They are also pet friendly so we were able to take our Lhasa Apso Revy on vacation with us. Besides how great this Air BnB is, my favorite is the hosts Kent & Tish! They are wonderful people. They are kind & friendly, & have such beautiful souls. They have become family to me! I highly recommend getting this air bnb!! Thank you again Tish & Kent! This is one of the most beautiful Airbnb‘s. I have ever stayed at. The location is stunning. A river runs right behind the house and you can listen to it as you fall asleep. The sun comes in the afternoon and lights up everything. Tami is a great host Who will make everything right. The house is stocked better than pretty much any house I’ve ever rented. Highly recommend this home. It is a treasure.

The lakeside cabin was just what I needed. Quiet, private, and right on the water. My dog loved running in the yard and swimming in the lake. The cabin was comfortable with all the basics, and sitting on the porch watching the water was so relaxing. Perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some peace and quiet.

My husband and in-laws and I and our two dogs stayed for a long MDW. The weather did not cooperate but did not hinder us. Especially staying at this Airbnb on the beautiful Oxbow Brewing property. In fact the coziness of the space made a rainy day even more fun. We were visiting for the racetrack and location was excellent for privacy and also close to local attractions. Wish we had more of a group to experience the space with us, it was really special!

Jonathan and Lisa were wonderful hosts! We stayed 3 nights to enjoy some Spring skiing at Saddleback. The home was close to town and a quick drive to Saddleback mountain. The house is perched high on a hill overlooking Rangeley lake. The downside is that the driveway is steep and icy (this time of year due to the recent March thaws) but the view and sunsets are breathtaking!! For an additional fee, you can enjoy their newly built sauna and whirlpool. So relaxing after a day of skiing that we booked it twice. The house has all the comforts of home. Being culinary masters, we had a bit of a struggle in the small kitchen. But certainly most everything you need to prepare great meals. Communication with the hosts was excellent and timely.

I stayed there for two weeks and I would stay again. It was very quiet which is my number one need. Two it was clean. Three nice kitchen with all the appliances you need. Four Jeanmarie answered all questions quickly and clearly. Five lots of room in the house. Six it was nice and warm in the winter weather.

Adorable cottage, newly renovated. Perfect for two with an open space loft for one more. Kitchen is well stocked right down to the coffee. A good location if visiting Fort Knox, Mt. Barrie and not too far from Bar Harbor if that is on your list. Great stay, highly recommend. Beautiful view and private.

Had an awesome stay at Mathews place. 20 min drive from Sugarloaf with an option for a shuttle even. Cozy spot next to a beautiful river. Allowed us to check out an hour late.

The host gave us an upgrade to another tiny house in the same location that we gladly accepted. We were welcomed by fresh lilacs in the tiny home with cozy ambiance. The location is remote with a small farm stand (the honey from this stand is a must, we got the biggest jar and we have zero regrets). This is a peaceful retreat with beautiful views and hikes. I recommend this to anyone looking to escape the city.

Spent a relaxing long weekend at the cabin. Idyllic location right on the water with plenty to do outside. We enjoyed making fires, fishing, and exploring in the canoe. Inside, the cabin was thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. Camden is nearby for a nice dinner or a stroll and shopping downtown. Acadia is also close enough for a day trip. Checkin/checkout was very straightforward, and the host was helpful and quick to answer any questions. Hope to visit again!

I can’t say enough about what a nicely appointed home in a beautiful setting this is. I came for peace and tranquility and it did not disappoint. I haven’t had such good sleep in over 2 years. Highly recommend and plan to return next year! Thank you all so much for sharing your lovely home.

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at this charming camp on Webb Lake, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The serene setting was perfect for enjoying the outdoors together. We spent our time fishing on the beautiful lake, where we caught a handful of fish. Kayaking was a highlight as well; the combination of being on the lake, mountain views and beautiful weather was simply magical. The camp itself was cozy and well-equipped, providing a wonderful weekend getaway. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway filled with outdoor fall activities, this is the place to be. Let’s just say this home should be rated a ten! Janice made her home the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature, curl up with cozy blankets, play family board games or watch the stars from the pristine hot tub. Her home is completely private surrounded by nature and the rock ledge of course. Inside I found everything super clean, upscale unique furniture, crazy comfy mattress and that heated bathroom floor makes you want to install one back home! But let’s not forget to mention that shopping, amazing breweries, pizza shops and local lobster restaurants are just a 5 minute drive away!! The guidebook Janice wrote is wonderfully extensive! But if you need Janice she’s always available to help out. I found her very sweet and always available to answer any questions I had. I don’t call this a Tiny house. I call it a Treasure house! Hated to leave and hoping to stay again someday.

Beautiful place, would definitely return! the area was private and quiet which was what we were looking for. we enjoyed seeing the cattle and sitting outside by the fire pit. our dog had a great time as well. host communicated well and was flexible.

I had an amazing stay at the tiny cabin nestled perfectly between Bridgton and Naples, Maine. The cottage was incredibly cute and charming, with a minimalist design that made it feel cozy and inviting. It was spotless and well-maintained, which added to the overall comfort. The tiny kitchen was surprisingly well-equipped, ideal for preparing simple meals, and the patio with a grill was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the fresh air. The walk down the path to the lake was scenic and peaceful, making for a lovely morning or evening stroll. I loved every aspect of this getaway and I’m already planning my return—100% staying here again!
