Sweet little cabin in the woods that we promise is definitely not the start of a B-grade horror flick (unless you're not great with the odd bug and some low-fi living) A bit of a glamping experience - we use solar lights and a camp stove, but there is some pretty great luxury features. It was a pleasure staying at the barn, the photos really don’t do it justice! Very spacious and have everything you needed, really enjoyed using the fire in the colder weather. Lovely scenic place with lovely views and friendly visits from Moss the dog. Would recommend for some respite from the city!

I stayed two nights with my partner and our toddler. We didn’t meet Jo but she was good to communicate with beforehand. The house was full of lovely and useful things—particularly notable were a great shower and very comfortable bed (though we didn’t try to cook a meal, nor use the outdoor bath, they both looked well set up too) and it’s in a picturesque spot, close to the beach. We’d happily stay here again.

Our stay at the cabin with our Labrador was absolutely perfect. The cabin itself was so comfortable with everything you need including a great shower and very comfy bed, set in the most gorgeous valley with views of the hills and forest. The outside deck space was fantastic, and use of the BBQ to cook while the sun sets was great. The river is absolutely stunning and our dog loved having a paddle. It’s the perfect spot to explore walks in the park and the cute town of Thames. I would thoroughly recommend. Katrina and her family were so friendly and helpful as well. We’ll definitely be back!
