Moreen was a great host. the house is beautiful and has a view to die for. Moreen was responsive and helpful during our stay and was able to sort out a few issues we had with the fridge. I would definitely be back

My stay in Watamu, with my two friends, was very lovely. Yasmin, Antonio, and Mary made our stay very comfortable with their warm personalities and responsiveness to any queries we had throughout our visit. This was much appreciated when we needed assistance with things in the house. The open plan feel of the apartment with the strong breeze was something of a lifeline in the heat by the Indian Ocean and the effective A/C in all bedrooms was a blessing. The pool was clean and also very quiet which made mornings and evenings very peaceful to swim. The apartment is very well located and is just 5minutes, if that, to Watamu beach and also positioned close to the bank and nearby shops. I will be staying here again if and when I am on the coast, Gus (UK 23-29/08/24)

It was definitely a great deal! The host and their assistant was perfect! We had a great stay. The grounds were awesome. They even let us check in early and check out late for just a small fee. It was very helpful being that we had to check out of an Airbnb quite close to there and there would’ve been a large gap where we would’ve had to sit someplace with our luggage. And then we have a flight late in the evening on the day we checked out once again we would’ve had to deal with our luggage all day long somewhere. We cooked in the kitchen, ordered food delivered, tuk tuk drivers were easy to get to come out there. And we were very close to town! The grounds were impeccably kept with great security. I definitely stay here again.

The space is exactly what you want for a beach getaway with friends - beautiful coastline and sea views off the back verandah. The staff are incredibly helpful yet unobtrusive, and being on Bofa Road means the rest of Kilifi is easily accessible. Highly recommended!

Joanna’s place was amazing. My daughter with 6 friends went there and Joanna was very supportive and welcoming. The house is large, breezy, in great conditions, with large en suite rooms. The girls had a cook who helped prepare breakfast and dinner for a very reasonable prize , the pool was cleaned daily and the place was excellent for groups of families or friends. I would highly recommend and we will definitely go back !

WOW!! What a fabulous trip had by all!! 8 adults and 1 baby stayed for 10 nights at Shuma house. We had an incredible trip. Shuma is breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful, you really feel at one with nature here!. Shuma house itself is stunning, plenty of space for everyone, all the rooms are quirky, spacious and full of personality. The staff were all very welcoming and accommodating, and all work incredibly hard to ensure we are well fed and looked after. Martin, Shumas chef cooked us the most delicious meals night after night! Lots of choice and flexibility with meal choices/timings/allergies etc. Robert was amazing and tended to our every need, especially our daughter Elkies needs! Thank you all so much for making our trip to Shuma House absolutely fabulous! It was an emotional goodbye, but it certainly wont be the last!! We will be back!! Thank you! 🤩

What really made our trip special was the staff - they were incredibly helpful and so friendly, always going the extra mile. We highly recommend Natasha's villa for a fantastic getaway!

Rita was an absolutely wonderful host. She allowed us to check in earlier since we were travelling from far. In fact , she was awake when we arrived early in the morning to usher us in. The house was clean, spacious and super beautiful. The surrounding were green and well maintained. The staff at the house were really helpful and the place felt very secure. We enjoyed our stay at this house. We enjoyed the food that was prepared for us by the host and the chill and relaxing atmosphere created for the guest. This was hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had. The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The space was spotless, stylish, and exactly as pictured—if not better. The location in Nyali was peaceful yet close to everything: beach, restaurants, and shops. I especially loved the little touches like fresh towels, fast Wi-Fi, and the serene balcony vibe. I felt completely at home. I had a wonderful stay at Marie’s apartment during my conference at PrideInn Paradise, Mombasa. The location was perfect—conveniently close to the venue yet peaceful enough for rest after long days. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as it looks in the photos. The host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and made check-in and check-out seamless. Overall, I truly appreciated the hospitality and would gladly stay here again during future visits to Mombasa. Highly recommended!

Really great location (mere steps from the beach). Only thing I would add is what previous reviewers have noted - it would be nice to have a water dispenser and some small amenities in the kitchen. Otherwise would absolutely stay here again.
