Family-friendly holiday rentals in Kirkland

I do not think there are enough words to describe how absolutely incredible Matthew's home is! Myself and 6 other girls spent the week here for a girls getaway and every single one of us could not stop 'oooo-ing & awwww'-ing' at every space. The home itself looks as if it came straight out of a novel but the property! Oh my gosh!!! Getting to be tucked away in the gorgeous scenic town of Kingston, while also not being too far from amazing restaurants and other amenities was pure perfection. We all took daily walks around the property and loved the high end retreat vibe that the home itself gives. We truly made some life long memories and cannot thank Matt enough for allowing us the opportunity to get to stay here. He was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our entire stay and we are all already talking about when we can come back; especially when the lavender field is in full bloom!! Thank you again, Matt!!

Location, location, location! We enjoyed our time right at the lake with the kayaks and SUPs provided. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay and we enjoyed the fantastic views!

Our stay Angela‘s Aphrodite Airbnb was fabulous! Angela is a gem! You can tell from her home that she cares about her guests’ comfort. Every request we had was met with friendliness and responsiveness. I highly recommend her place. :)

This was our third time staying at Paula's place, and it feels like a second home. It is our first choice of place to stay when we travel to Seattle to visit our family, and I recommend it to all of our friends who are going there.

My wife and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary. Our stay at Lisa's place brought us great joy and wonderful memories. Our dog enjoyed the stay as much as we did!

This house is incredible. The location is perfect, walking distance to many food and drink spots. There is an amazing coffee shop right on the corner. Sauna and soaking tub are relaxing. The house is clean and organized and has clear instructions. Hosts are helpful and knowledgable. Highly recommend!

Stunning! We saw bald eagles flying right in front of us and Orcas swimming in the channel- all from the seaside deck and hot tub! The indoor space is just as pristine, very clean and nice- but the highlight is the outdoor area for sure. Not to mention the location made it very easy to explore the island and more. We highly recommend Kevin’s place for anyone staying on Bainbridge. Better yet, cancel your Seattle plans and stay here instead. Thank you Kevin!

A friend recommended staying at Barred Owl Cottage for a local wedding - and the recommendation did not disappoint! Jim and Chris were superb hosts and the cottage is so cute!! I really appreciated the excellent communication prior to and day of our arrival, including the PDF of all the great things to do in the area. The back porch of the cottage overlooking the woods was our favorite part! Check out was also a breeze and we will definitely recommend Barred Owl Cottage to anyone who needs a place to stay when they are on Whidbey!

This location can’t be beat! We loved exploring the beach, watching seals, porpoises and otters, and making s’mores. The cabin was charming, clean, and had everything we needed.

Marcell is a great host, friendly and communicative. Very helpful with local suggestions and very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again if the listing is available the next time I’m in Seattle.

The place is in a nice and safe neighborhood. Inside the place it was vary vary clean! With being attached to a house it’s was pretty quiet during our stay. The beds were vary comfortable and the place felt cozy. There were lots of amenities that were nice as well. Definitely a good spot that’s close to the city!

my partner and I stayed here for a long weekend trip to the Olympic/Seattle area. it was close enough to Kingston to ferry into Seattle and close to a bunch of beautiful spots on the peninsula. Super little/cozy cabin that has all you need. Martha and Noah were super friendly and helpful for things to check out in the area.

This place is so cozy! We got sick after our cruise and recovered at this little home. You have everything you need plus a great view. Super child friendly too!

I stayed for a month on a work trip and I couldn’t ask for a better space to both enjoy Seattle and get my work done. The desk set up was amazing and when I was done for the day I could take a beautiful, scenic walk and enjoy the fall foliage in the neighborhood. The spot is also a walkable distance from amazing restaurants and shops. I can’t say enough positive things about my stay!

Roland shows great pride of ownership and has created a space that is inviting, easy to settle into, and extremely well appointed. He is responsive, clear, and amiable. The beds and linens are comfortable and luxurious. The kitchen facilities are worthy of any aspiring chef. The available content on the TVs is encyclopedic. The place and neighborhood is quiet despite there being occupants above and below the floor I rented. Highly recommend the neighborhood for walking and exploring. Parking on the street was easy. Highly recommend the property and the host.

The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

This place was awesome! We stayed here for four nights with our six year old. She loved the pool and made sure we swam everyday. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for us. Queen sized bed and a comfortable pull-out couch. The views of Puget sound were amazing!

The place was perfect for our vacation stay in Seattle! Excellent central location for walking to the most commonly visited tourist spots. We took full advantage of the courtyard and gym. My son said he slept "way better" on the pull-out sofa than he did in our earlier hotel stay. The place was clean and comfortable. Being met and provided instructions at check-in was helpful and checkout was a breeze.

Ian's place was great. We enjoyed spending our evenings with family after the days adventure. The pool house and outside patio are amazing we all really enjoyed it. The house has anything you need and communication with Ian was prompt and easy. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

Gayle was very quick to respond. Her condo is in a secure building. It was spotless. Great location - walkable to all attractions. She let us drop off our luggage prior to check in ( we were coming straight from Alaska Cruise). She called us as soon as the unit was clean and told us we could return. I would stay at Gayles Place again.

The view was amazing and the location easy to find. If we had the time and the weather was nice we would just sit out on the balcony and just watch the marketplace bustle. The space was clean and many essentials were provided. We utilized the pool/hot tub/gym daily which was super nice after all the walking we did during the day. Target being downstairs was also very convenient especially since I needed to grab another luggage cause I ran out of space in the one I brought. The only complaints I might have is that it can be quite loud at night and I was woken up quite a few times. However, ear plugs are provided though I didn't use them because they get uncomfortable after a few hours. We had no actual issues but it can also feel a bit unsafe at night if you're out late due to the homeless population though that is not a fault of the hosts. Despite that I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Just the view and convenience outweighs anything else.
