Located in the old Town area of Stonehaven, this flat is only a short walk from the picturesque working harbour with a sandy beach and beach boardwalk around Stonehaven Bay. Stonehaven has many amenities and lies on the Coastal tourist route that passes by the historic Dunnottar Castle. This is very close by and easily accessed by foot or car. This 1st floor flat has recently been redecorated with a light and airy feel and is positioned on the route of the famous Hogmanay Fireballs procession.

Cottage was very clean and very well equipped. Bedrooms were really comfortable. Location is beautiful and garden was great. Hot tub was excellent especially as we had beautiful weather. One thing to note- make sure you pick up some groceries before you arrive as it’s pretty off grid but there wasn’t even tea bags/ coffee in the cottage.

Had a lovely stay at Kathryn's. Place is lovely. Lots of space for our group of three. There was easy on street parking. The garden is well kept and it's a quiet area so nice to sit. We had glorious weather when we stayed. Stonehaven is a lovely town and everyone is lovely and enjoyed a chat (blether). Round the corner from the flat there is a Scotmid small supermarket which is handy. We got lovely soft butteries from Goodfellow & Steven bakery, chocolate from a chocolate shop, gifts from the lovely lady at My Beautiful Caravan shop on Market Square. Also bought some adorable tins of salt from the Stonehaven Salt Co. from the Seafood Bothy and the Museum both at the harbour. The tin includes the co-ordinates the salt was gathered and made great gifts. We ate delicious chocolate crepes at Cafe Noir, chips on the promenade and deep fried mats bar from the chippy it all began. All this joy plus more all within walking distance of the flat. Highly recommend.

Wow! The photos looked amazing when we booked but nothing prepares you for the reality of just how beautiful the views are from the property. The house itself was terrific - it was spotless throughout and had everything you could ask for, it really felt like a home away from home. The gardens were beautiful and well thought out and the hot tub was placed exactly right to take in the views. Dave greeted us and gave us some local recommendation’s, both Lynsay and Dave were lovely and so helpful. I couldn’t fault The Edge and will definitely be back. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
