The "Hühnerhaus"

The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. The "gray water" is used in the garden and the "separating toilet" works without drinking water flushing. Our lovingly furnished attic apartment is idyllically located on the Wolfegger Ach, only 7 km from Kißlegg – ideal for all those who are looking for relaxation in the middle of nature. We live in the house but the apartment is its own private area. There are still three dogs and one cat on the property. The house is quiet, with no direct neighbors – perfect for a break from everyday life. Hiking and biking trails start almost in front of the door.

It is particularly suitable for travellers planning a hiking or cycling trip. The 74 m² holiday apartment consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom as well as an additional toilet and can therefore accommodate 5 people.

Experience nature up close in our West Allgäu Alpine foothills by bike, on foot or on skis. The newly renovated apartment with a large, sunny balcony is located on the upper floor of our two-family house, with a shared entrance and a staircase leading up. Supermarket and bakery are within walking distance.

You will stay in a newly built farmhouse. The apartment has a family bed (2.70 m x 2 m). Cozy living-dining area with access to the balcony from there with a view of the mountains. Sofa bed for 2 more people. Dining area for at least 6 people. In summer, there is a pool for shared use outdoors. In the winter months, we have our sauna in operation. Here you can relax on cold autumn or winter days. Very large bathroom with family shower. Plus local tourist tax.
