apartment is very Peaceful and sea beach very near also shopping centre you can walk by yourself . garden very clean and beautiful. our family spend very nice time together at the apartment. Specially with papa everything is best There was a lake just next to the garden. Highly recommend. we will come back again soon.

I stayed in this apartment for 5 weeks during my hospital internship and have been very happy with the location, cleanliness and value for money. Chandra and her husband are hospitable, quiet landlords who were easy to reach at any time. I felt very safe here. This apartment is suitable for short and long stays in Galle. The city center and Unawatuna can be reached quickly by bus and for the hospital in Karapitiya I took a tuktuk every day for the equivalent of €1.50. The nearest beach is a 5-minute walk and perfect for swimming and surfing beginners. I'd come back.

I stayed here for 3 weeks and it was one of the best Airbnbs I have visited. The property is beautiful with an amazing pool and also beautiful views. Chaminda is a great host and makes you feel like you are at home. He was super responsive and super helpful with recommendations as well. A must visit for anyone. Looking forward to visiting again !

His kindness and generosity exceeded all expectations, from assisting with our late check-in due to a delayed flight to helping us organize various trips around the area. We had a lovely stay in Galle! The apartment was perfectly located between Galle fort and Galle hospital for our medical placement. Sachintha and his family were so welcoming and made us feel right at home with helpful recommendations and home cooked desserts. The apartment was kept really clean and was overall a perfect place to stay!

This place was brilliant. It was spacious, very clean, had great ac and a powerful ceiling fan. It is so close for places to eat and five mins from the beach. I would highly recommend this room. The host was also very communicative and helpful.

So, you’re obviously looking for accommodation in south-west Sri Lanka – well don’t look any further than Sailor’s Bay. From the minute you enter this paradise, you will be welcomed and charmed by Dilan and his family. The environment is gorgeous – any stress totally disappears. Nothing is too much trouble. They are engaging, and genuinely go out of their way to ensure that every second of your stay is a second to remember. Our family (13 – 3 generations – ages 2 – 74) was continually astounded by their willingness to do the best by us . It was a sad time when we left, but happy in the knowledge that we will return. So, take my word for it – Sailor’s Bay will not disappoint even the most pedantic traveler.

We stayed four days in the condo and it was wonderful. For starters, Valentine offered to rent a motorbike for a very affordable price, and by the time we arrived, we had it available. Communication, perfect. He was very kind and responsive to any requests. The place, very clean and cared for. Despite not being on the front line, it was very well located. It's exactly like the photographs! Definitely highly recommended.

I had a really lovely stay here. It’s tucked away from the busy street but also close enough to walk there. It’s only a 10 minute walk to the beach. The room has everything you need. The host was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend :)

I cannot say anything bad about Hanuman Place's. I spent three weeks there and it was fantastic. I loved that the location is very local and the surroundings are beautiful and they have six dogs. :) From beginning until the end it was true Sri Lankan hospitality. I felt welcome from the first minute and did not want to leave. For sure I will be back for another visit! Also, if you get the chance to try the food they prepare, do it! It is the best food I've tried in Sri Lanka!

This was our first trip to Sri Lanka, and it was truly unforgettable! Nipuni was an incredibly kind and friendly host. She was always quick to reply and shared helpful recommendations. We were lucky to have a wonderful family dinner with Nipuni and her mom , they you cooked an amazing local dishes for us, and we had such a great time together. OMG we love her crepes!!! It was by far the best stay we’ve had in Sri Lanka — a whole floor of the house with a private entrance and terrace, clean and cozy rooms with air conditioning (a rare find in Sri Lanka ), comfy beds, a great kitchen, and a perfect quiet location away from the road noise. I highly recommend staying here, and I would love to come back again!

Jula and Suranga (whose house it is and who lives there with his lovely family) were super responsive and proactive in communication. The house is right across the street from the beach and just a few minutes' drive from nice places like Shanti Shanti or Wijaya Beach. Suranga and his family had prepared a welcome snack when we arrived and even invited us to a home-cooked Sri Lankan breakfast one morning. The apartment is on the top floor of Suranga's house and looks very much like in the pictures. Note that the stairs are a bit steep, but the place has a nice small kitchen and good rooms. Also, their neighbour Assanta was a super reliable Tuk Tuk driver while we stayed there.

We stayed at Sajeewa’s home for three weeks and could not recommend it enough. It’s spacious, comfortable and clean. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped to cook meals and save money on eating out. The gardens around the house are lush and invite lots of birds for watching in the early mornings. The balcony is such a highlight, it’s serene and peaceful, you could spend hours there chatting, working or simply staring into nature. Sajeewa and his family are so hospitable and very easy to communicate with, they made our stay feel very homely. Local shops are within walking distance and Weligama beach is a 20 minute walk at best. We would definitely stay with Sajeewa again if we’re back in Weligama.

A large manor with a very unique and beautiful environment. There are coconut groves, mango trees, and starfruit trees... The location is also very good. It's right next to the beach. The service is very welcoming. It feels like home. It's also very personalized. Because we came back late from whale watching, they gave us a house to check out late. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time to stay at the hotel and enjoy such a beautiful environment. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful time! The place is absolutely amazing. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The beach is really close by and easily accessible. The property and its amenities are fantastic. We even spent an entire day in the apartment because it felt so comfortable and the balcony is just amazing, we felt like being at home. If I visit Sri Lanka again, this place would definitely be my go-to. I’m confident everyone will enjoy the breathtaking view from the balcony and the stunning sunsets from the rooftop. Loved it!

Patrick is a great host who will help you with everything. He arranged a transfer for us to a villa, chose the best room for our needs and help with every query we had. He's always around when you need him and respects your privacy at the same time. The place is amazing for digital nomads (or people who would like to come here just to rest). Great wi-fi speed on every floor and at every place. We didn't need to be afraid of power cuts because of the generator which worked perfectly. The villa has an amazing view of the lake with a lot of palm trees with monkeys just next to you. Very nice pool which you can use 24/7 with fancy lights when it's dark. You can order tasty food at a very good price, which will be delivered to your laptop or to a place where you're chilling. Very good coffee (important especially for developers). The villa is away from the main road but at the same time just a 5-10 min bike/tuk-tuk ride from the market/wine store/atm. You would have 10 min walk to a beautiful beach where you can buy coconuts or pineapples. Surf rental is just a few steps from there. People here are friendly and helpful. Sunil (who helps Patrick) can arrange a bike rental or anything you would need. Just come to experience it!

I with my friends stayed here and we really enjoyed our time there! The place is lovely and 100% matches photo, Location is also very good - there're beach, cafes and big grocery store are in 15-minute walk. Kelani and Shantha were very welcoming and supportive in everything! Highly recommend this place, would love to revisit it!
