Holiday rentals with lake access in Koillismaa

Great stay, close enough to ruka but far enough away to retreat to the peace of the lake.

The stay was terrific. The lodge is in an idyllic spot on the lake in the trees. Upon arrival (for us in winter) the house is nice and warm. We enjoyed the sauna at the lodge and then cool off in the snow. The interior is perfect and complete with beautiful crockery from Arabia. Also handy that there is a washer and drier. The road is well maintained in snowfall. Piritta responds quickly if there are questions, communicates nicely and has good tips. We'd love to come back. What a fairytale this was!

The house is exceptional, beautiful and right on the lake. The decor is natural, modern and with lots of wood; we felt very comfortable from the first moment. Note the very secluded location; the nearest shopping (supermarket) is about a 15-minute drive away. But with appropriate planning, that's no problem either. We enjoyed the quiet idyllic location very much.

Simply great, surrounded by fantastic nature. We were there over New Year's Eve and enjoyed it a lot. Sven was always easily accessible and patiently answered all questions. The house sits completely alone on a beautiful lake. However, it is not far to visit, for example, the beautiful ski resort of Ruka or other great activities, such as cross-country skiing or sled dog rides. We will be happy to come back!

A cool and cozy place to stay in Kuusamo for a more demanding guest. The landlord was also friendly and took care of it throughout the stay to make sure everything was fine. Warm recommendation for everyone ☺️

Nice cottage, in a great location. The scenery was beautiful and communication with the host was easy and smooth. Christmas decorations were still on display. They could have been collected when our visit was in June. It was the only small minus. 😊

Midsummer's time in the cottage went very well! The cottage is far enough from the “hustle and bustle” of the village of Ruka, but within walking or driving distance of shops and restaurants. The sauna and the lake a few meters away were a lovely addition to this vacation. The host was friendly and responsive to messages. I'd love to stay here again!

The location of the property is really good. Based on the photos and description, it is a cozy and good apartment. When I got there, it was even better. It contains everything you can imagine you need. I'll rent it again next time if it's available. Thanks to Samuli, you responded quickly and clearly to the messages. The vacation really felt like a vacation in this apartment.

Very nice location. 20m to the ski track and the slopes were great for walking on the boots. I recommend a cozy cottage with good equipment. Effective and seamless communication with Rami. Recommended.

Very good value! A beautiful and atmospheric home in a beautiful and atmospheric setting. Everything is easy with Marjo, from booking through communication to checkin.

The host responded to messages kindly and showed flexibility. Great for the outdoors, as trails and winter outdoor trails comfortably 50m away on the ice of Lake Talvijärvi. A short trip to the store and the village.

The cottage perfectly met our needs and was in a really good location. The tea rake was a great home base for our family's vacation activities. A big thank you to the host!

The house is amazing and had everything we needed to feel at home. Very cozy and clean, beautiful location and very quite in the middle of nature, close to beautiful national parks and loads to do. Beautiful little cottage right on the lake. A good sauna where you can swim to your own beach in the summer, now the lake was still freezing. Near the starting point of the Little Bear Tour.

This is a top-notch cottage in a dreamy forest by the lake. The winter scenery was "Narnia" like all around. All the amenities are beautiful Finish art collections, the dishes almost feel too pretty to eat from :-) You can feel that every corner has been thought about. The communication with Virpi has been excellent before and during our stay. Thank you so much for having us.
