No words can describe Zami’s place. I think I looked through the photos a hundred times, but nothing prepared me for the absolute AWE and deep serenity I felt when I first stood by the pool and peered into the majestic mountains surrounding the calm, reflective waters of Shiroka. I’ve never seen happier birds than the ones that fly around this house. Do not think twice, please experience it for yourself if you have the chance, it will change your life the way it did mine.

Don’t think it twice. This is the best host in that area. I was travelling with 2 little kids and he helped with everything- even trying to find baby food in this remote place! He is simply amazing.

6 of us stayed at Ardian’s gorgeous house and it was incredible. We arrived late into the evening and Ardian kindly organised a taxi to pick us up from the airport. He then met us at the villa and gave us a tour. The villa was incredible, the pictures don’t do it justice! The rooms had air conditioning, were spacious and had comfortable beds. Towels were provided and there were some groceries included on our arrival. Ardian came by everyday to look after the animals and the pool, and he gave us some recommendations and treated us to some fresh fruit from the grounds. He was a lovely host and we’d highly recommend the villa. The location is lovely - a short walk from the lake and lakeside restaurants, and the local taxi company, North Taxi’s (shoutout to Endi) were great at picking us up and taking us a bit further afield to the Old Town and the beach.
