Lapland is full, come to Kainuu! On a sunny, forested plot in Kajaani, an atmospheric 6-person cottage with a wonderful wood-heated beach sauna. The sun shines on the cottage beach late into the evening. The beach sauna is located right on the water and the cottage itself is a little higher up on the plot. Inside the cottage, running water, indoor toilet and shower bring a little luxury to your stay. The cottage is equipped with a covered large terrace with views through the forest to the back of the lake.

Ilmainen pysäköinti, pihaan mahtuu noin 3 autoa. Keittiön varustus: Mikro, airfryer, sähköuuni, keittolevy, kahvinkeitin, jääkaappi ja pakastin, kesäisin grilli pihalla. Linens, towels and final cleaning are included. The apartment is about three kilometers from the center of Kajaani towards the airport.

Not a resort. Not a hotel. Exactly what Finland actually looks like. A small off-grid cabin on Lake Oulujärvi running on solar power and firewood. No running water or indoor plumbing. That’s intentional. You light the sauna, pump water from the lake, and cook on gas or an open fire at the laavu. Note: this stay requires basic outdoor skills. You must be comfortable making fires, bringing your own sheets and drinking water, and doing the final cleaning before checkout.

For sleeping use only in summer. Summer kitchen and pizza oven.
