Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kootenai County

Very comfortable stay. Beds are comfortable, has a family room and breakfast nook, kitchen had all the basics we needed, bath has plenty of towels and toiletries. Homey feel and quiet neighborhood. We like to walk and found this location walkable for all that we needed. I would be happy to stay here again!

Absolutely LOVE and highly recommend this home. The best care was put into it with such wonderful thought into every detail. Felt like home away from home. The owners were super attentive to any questions we had, getting back to us quickly. They were hands down the best hosts we’ve ever had on Airbnb. Great location too within walking distance to some great restaurants and easy access to the freeway for any further ventures.

This is a great stay for a couple that wants to be near the downtown/lake section of CDA but not stay in the resort. We enjoyed the seating outside, hot tub, clean and comfortable accommodations, and cutesy quaint neighborhood. We even saw the massive black, brown, and white bunnies and encountered a flock of wild turkeys while driving. Very convenient to Tubbs Hill trailhead and the big park and boardwalk. Ron was very responsive during our stay and gave clear directions- I appreciate renting from owners like him.

I really enjoyed this space. A lot of attention to detail and care went into its creation. It got quite warm on the hot days. So lounging on the couch under the ceiling fan and open windows is the way to go. I'm sure the neighbors saw way more of me than they bargained for when lounging cooling off. :-) Communication was great. Lots of parking space and private. Great location.

We loved staying at the barn! It was close to Silverwood and easy to get back on the road in the morning. Our favorite part was relaxing in the hot tub after a long day.

We loved our stay while participating in the Half Ironman. The house was spotless and comfy. Restaurant recommendations were fantastic. Overall, excellent house. Great communication by hosts. We will stay there if we come back.

My sister and I were visiting the area for the first time and had a wonderful stay! It's a warm and cozy house with everything you need and a great location with easy access to downtown and I90. We were gone most of the day but it was the prefect spot to come back to and unwind. Tom and Linda have put a lot of thought and care into the space and it created a relaxing and 'homey' environment. Would love to stay here again for future trips!

I had a lovely stay at this quaint little bungalow. It was far enough from downtown to enjoy quietness of the neighborhood but close enough to have an enjoyable walk to the nearby restaurants. Place is perfect for a couple or small family getaway.

This was a great find. Chris and Maria have put a lot of care into this place. it's modern and very clean with off-street parking. The location is great too. super easy to get down town or to get north to Silverwood and Sandpoint. I used to like in the area in the 80's and come back into town often. I'll be seeking this place out for my next visit.

Great apartment in easy walking distance of many restaurants and downtown. Very private, self-service. Very clean and well appointed. It will usually be a quiet spot, but right now, construction starts nextdoor at 7:30am (except Sundays). The very firm mattress will make some people happy. Easiest to find by using an app to get to the front of the house, then go around the corner to the south to find the little dirt alley to the back driveway. Deanne was very welcoming, quick to communicate, and accommodating!

What a wonderful place to stay! Bryan was great to work with and will definitely stay there again when in town. The place a very clean, quiet and neighbors were friendly! Plenty of places to eat and shop within walking distance.

Host were responsive and friendly really appreciated all their help. Home is beautiful and very comfortable , has everything you need plus many extras Bed is comfortable Parking so close to entrance ( no steps ) is a nice extra Would highly recommend

The place is in a great location next to restaurants and stores! It’s only 5 minutes from the lake! The condo was very open and clean; and had everything we needed! Would definitely stay there again!

Great stay for a trip to Silverwood! Walkable to Tubbs Hill and downtown CDA.

Robbie and Torey were awesome, they provided everything you could need to make you feel at home, love the Riverstone dining and shopping area, but the balcony was my favorite part! :)

The best AirBnb I’ve ever stayed at. Exceeded my expectations. Great location, very clean, well-appointed, cozy, with the most incredible floor to ceiling waterfront views. I loved having coffee on the balcony overlooking the river and the convenience of walking down to the restaurants downstairs. Appreciated the thoughtful personal touches and unique tasteful art and decor and premium bedding and towels which made it feel like a home away from home. Excellent communication with host. 10 out of 10. I checked out today and I’m already thinking of booking my return visit.

5 Stars – Absolutely Perfect Stay! I had an amazing experience staying at this Airbnb! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was incredibly responsive, kind, and made sure I felt right at home. The location was perfect—close to everything but still peaceful and quiet. I especially loved all the shops, restaurants and the beautiful area for my morning and evening walks! I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay!

What another wonderful stay in Idaho. This place was very convenient to town and all local amenities wanted and needed. The place was extremely clean! the beds are the most comfortable. Put you to sleep as soon as you close your eyes. The only thing that was weird is when we came back from the grocery store the first day, there was a couple that was told to come by to check out the place to see if they wanted to rent. Asked if they could come in an check out the place. I mean, other than that. FANTASTIC accommodations.

The view from the decks of Lake Pend Oreille was beautiful and it was quiet and serene. The electronic keypad on the front door was not working well so we had some trouble getting into the house. Connie and Steve were quick to respond and we were eventually able to get back inside. Hopefully the keypad will be fixed or replaced so that this will not be a problem in the future. Other than this one inconvenience, we enjoyed our stay here very much.

Stayed at Jennifer’s and it was a great experience. The check in instructions were very clear and detailed. Great location with a lot to do in the immediate surrounding, and just a quick drive to downtown CDA. Additionally, we stayed here for to run the CDA 70.3 Ironman and it was the perfect location and the perfect place to properly prepare for and recover from the race, if your looking for a place for next years race this is the spot! Wonderful experience. 10 out of 10 would stay again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place in CDA
