This place is perfect. Great and friendly staff next door that keep the place immaculate. Loved the church bells out our window. Clean linens. Overall great!

We liked this home very much. I can mention just two things that could be a problem for future guests. First, the stairway to the bedrrom is very steep with small steps. We could not have carried our luggage up that stairway. Second, all the information about the home (e.g., wifi) is in Dutch. Fortunately, we know some Dutch and could read it. The home is very well furnished and was perfectly clean. It is a short walk to the train station and to the town center — a perfect location.

What a lovely time we had in this lovely and quiet house. Fantastic rural surroundings and the house is in an apple orchard. The cottage has all the comforts and the wifi is excellent. We stayed here for 4 weeks due to a renovation. Marc and Maria are cozy, friendly, quiet and interested people. We had a regular chat and if there was anything they were ready right away. They also have a nice dog Bear who always greeted us enthusiastically but didn't bark. You are within walking distance of the cozy village of Schoonhoven with many bars and restaurants. Furthermore, you are easy by bus in both Rotterdam and Utrecht. In short, a great place to be a time.

Elles made our stay super comfortable, place was pristine clean and Elles was supper helpful and responsive. Kids enjoyed the farm, must stay if someone is looking for a peaceful stay near amsterdam. Central is a very easy bus ride

We were warmly welcomed by Klaas Jan. Refrigerator was well stocked and there were also some treats available. The house, and certainly the kitchen, is equipped with every comfort. There was also a covered and enclosed area where we could store and charge our bikes. We sat outside on the banks of the Hollandse Ijssel, at the back of the house. The front is located on a busy provincial road, which is audible in the house and garden. The living room and kitchen (upstairs) are very spacious, downstairs, where the sleeping quarters are, it is just a little cramped for 3 adults. Also because the master bedroom is only accessible via the bathroom. In addition, there was no curtain/door at the bedstee to darken the daylight that comes through the skylight early in the morning. But all in all we had a very pleasant stay in this super luxurious AirBnB and we would highly recommend it, especially if you are only two!

Chris is an outstanding host! The apartment really looks as beautiful as you can see in the pictures in advance. The location is certainly one of the best that is possible in Gouda at all. Our canal tour started less than five minutes away from the apartment and the marketplace is about a 10-15 minute walk. Everything is clean, appealing and Chris responds very quickly and reliably to any questions. We were completely satisfied and would be happy to come back if Gouda is on the plan again as a destination:)

I stayed here for a month, and the owners were kind and helpful from the beginning, promptly addressing every question or request I had. The apartment is very cozy and has a wonderful outdoor garden. Additionally, the town of Moordrecht is beautiful. Highly recommended.

Meineke’s place is in a great location, just an 8 minute walk to grocery stores, historical center of Gouda and the train station. The house is comfortable and very clean. It is very well-appointed with every kitchen tool you can imagine. The beds were very comfortable. The only thing that I think bears mentioning is that if you are sleeping on the top floor, you have to go down a flight of 13 steps to use the bathroom in the night. I’m 72 and need to do that once or twice every night and handled it well. There is a hand-rail and a night light. But, just something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues. Marianne manages the property and lives right next door. She greeted us upon arrival and was very responsive to all questions.

I must express my utmost satisfaction with the accommodation I experienced during my stay in the Netherlands. The quaint town of Gouda provided a convenient location for exploring the area, and the hospitality of Katja truly exceeded my expectations. She consistently inquired about my well-being and was always willing to assist with any requests I had.

Beautiful new apartment in lovely coutry side surroundings. The apartment is in a charming camping lot, second floor, shares terracce with one other neighbour apartment, but has a private entrance. Very quiet, a bit away from attractions, but for that you get beautiful landscape and dreamy country roads. Apartment is new, very clean, one queen size comfy bed and big sofa couch in living room. Love the decor and extra chairs to sit in! Ask for the breakfast, they offer to bring you one for small cost. Everything you need for a longer stay is there, hosts are very helpful! I hope to stay again!

Lovely apartment, very spacious. Was a stone throw away from the centre square, perfect location! Malika was brilliant not only with communicating regarding the apartment but also sent some great tips for Gouda and things to do. Highly recommend.

Very large, high-ceiling room with a comfortable bed, a sitting and dining area in a restored canal house. View of the canal from the large windows and a 3 minute walk to the town square and restaurants. We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay!

A very homely place with friendly hosts who were always responsive, flexible and helpful. The toilet is just outside the apartment in the communal hall, but it was for our sole use, and was not at all a problem, so don't let that put you off. The bedroom and ensuite shower in particular are very stylish and look to have been newly refurbished. A lot of thought has been put into providing everything you could possibly need, and making the place comfortable. We especially appreciated the mattress toppers for the sofa beds, and slept very well.

The stay with Marjolein and Michiel was extraordinarily beautiful and cozy. Quietly located, beautiful ambience with private pond terrace and garden. Ideal for cycling tours to the World Heritage Site of the mills in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, and Dordrecht. The water bus is also highly recommended! Since my husband turned 60, Michiel had thoughtfully put a nice bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for us in advance. Breakfast was very tasty and extensive. The beds are very comfortable. City center at your doorstep. Good sized apartment for a family of four. Do mind the steep staircases.

our stay was very convenient and easy to travel as it is very close to the train station an shops. the neighbourhood is quiet and safe and clean. our stay was very comfortable as it suited every needs of ours with having all basic amenities. The apartment worked very well for three of us for a 9-night stay. We were welcomed with fresh flowers, champagne, and chocolate! The hosts were gracious, proactive, and helpful when we had questions or needs. The space is clean, well-lit, and modern, and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. Our daughter declared the sleep sofa the most comfortable she's ever slept on! The entry stairs are steep, but with the sturdy railing and good lighting we felt quite safe on them. The neighborhood has gems for dining and shopping, and you can walk to the City center. A laundromat that takes credit/debit cards is 4 blocks away. Tram stops are close, and they run on a frequent schedule. Parking is limited, so renting a bike is ideal. The bike lanes and traffic signals make it safe and easy to ride throughout the city. Venturing farther is possible by renting an electric car by the hour through the MyWheels app. Their cars are conveniently parked at charging stations around the neighborhood.

A nice bright apartment and wonderfully quiet at night. The bicycles provided free of charge were particularly great. Richard was kind and responsive. The toilet is a little uncomfortable, as it is separate, but very narrow, so that large people cannot sit comfortably.
