The house has its own washer, dryer, free wifi and a TV. It also has a boat launch and fishing deck. Our house is located on a canal on the Atchafalaya River, addition to Butte La Rose, LA. We are exactly in between Lafayette and Baton Rouge, equally 30 minutes away from both locations!

It's a great place to spend time relaxing in the quiet serenity of South Louisiana, or enjoy spending a night or more traveling through, it is located just 8 miles north of Interstate 10. We do not allow pets. The Cabin is all wood inside and has the great cabin smell the minute you open the door. It was built in 2014 by Amish builders in Pennsylvania and transported down by a truck.

This cozy cottage is nestled along the bank of the Atchafalaya River, a few miles south of interstate 10 and half way between Baton Rouge and Lafayette, La. My colleagues and I had a great time at Five Oaks Farms! We enjoyed coffee on the rocking chairs with the chickens in before and after our work days. This little sudio is adorable. I was worried about the natural light, but it was so cozy. Extremely clean. Very private, but walkable neighborhood, and 15 mins walk to Breaux Bridge center. I loved the outdoor space to read and write, and even more peaceful when it rained on the tin roofs. Katie truly is a Superhost.

We had a great time staying at Christine’s listing. The area is very quiet and peaceful, with small restaurants and shops just a few blocks away. Christine’s house is very charming and unique and makes you feel right at home. Christine was extremely hospitable from the first message she sent regarding the check-in process and when we met her in person she was friendly, welcoming, and had plenty of recommendations as far as restaurants and places to see. I highly recommend staying at Christine’s if you are looking for a clean, welcoming listing in a peaceful area.
