My love for the view, simple charms of rural Maharashtra and the constant breeze, inspired me to design Firefly as a big open convivial space, hugging nature but never bereft of comforts. Filling one with joy and her peacefulness. Firefly has seen our children grow up and much fun and laughter with family and friends over the years. Welcome to Captan's , The Rajmachi Reserve Forest provides the ideal backdrop, with countless stars and a beautiful valley by Valvan Lake/Tungarli Dam, whether you like to walk through the forest or be driven through it. The entire resort is encircled by woodland and wildlife, making it isolated and intended only for those who love the outdoors. Treks, waterfalls, and dams offer stunning locations. Given that it is surrounded by woodland and wild life, the resort is not kid or pet friendly.

This has been our family second home for over two decades and one we've watched come alive from nothing. Set in a rustic 5 acre farm with a rivulet that runs by the property (unfortunately only in the monsoon), Rashmi Farms is a great place to disconnect from the city (though we have wifi if you must work). You can enjoy walks around the farm and nearby villages, a dip in the pool, or just put up your feet with a book. All this just 2.5 hours drive from Mumbai.
