Hammeren seter is located 900 meters above sea level on the west side of Gudbransdalslågen, and about 30 minutes drive from Kvitfjell alpine resort. The nearest mountain peak is Bånseterkampen (1220 meters above sea level)About 30 min walk from the farm. Outside the cabin wall there are great groomed ski slopes. The trail network is connected to Skeikampen, Kvitfjell and Gålå

Experience beautiful nature at a cozy mountain farm cabin! The cabin is located on the edge of the forest with a view of the entire Østre Gausdal. Lots of hiking opportunities both in summer and winter right outside the door. About 1 km on skis through the forest to the Skeikampen trail network. The cabin has 5 beds, plus a pull-out bed, an equipped kitchen, a heat pump, a wood-burning stove, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bed linen and towels included. You must have a 4x4 in winter. 15 minutes to the city center and Skeikampen, 30 minutes to Lillehammer and 45 minutes to Hunderfossen.

One hour from Jotunheimen with mountain peaks over 2000 meters. Fifteen minutes to drive to the charming rural town of Fagernes. Shop, restaurant and bakery within walking distance.

Cozy decor and well equipped with good beds, kitchen, bathroom and shower. To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. Short distance to nice hiking possibilities in both summer and winter. Nice cross-country ski trails both in Kvitfjell and Stortann/Annolseter/Skotten, within 20 min drive.
