部屋もとても綺麗で過ごしやすかったです！

This place is our new spiritual home, we absolutely loved it! The house is a 20 year project - beautifully crafted by the Kind-hearted artist Kazuki-San. We stayed in the knights room, perfectly equipped to cook and relax, with a magical view and wide balcony. There is a mezzanine, where you sleep, which is so comforting and fun to rest on. From the house, you can do some stunning hikes in the Hira mountain range, challenging but great for adventures. A train ride away is another fun hike to Yobai falls. There is also a local ceramics studio and Oberton, with great coffee. The most special thing though was Kazuki-San, who took the time to guide us to some local rural spots, we went to a sake factory, ate sakura mochi on the Otsu bridge, saw the oldest trade route in Japan and an exhibition studio with other local artists after which we enjoyed a lovely portion of Soba Noodles together. There is a special place in our hearts for this experience, we can’t wait to return and be reunited.

Location is perfect and place is well equipped and very clean. Except some small hiccup with our check-in, everything is communicated smoothly. Host was very kind to accommodate us. Would recommend for future stays.

Honestly one of the best stays I’ve ever had if not the best. I was shocked at how friendly the host was and they never hesitated to ask what I was doing for the day and also gave recommendations depending on where I’d be going. They even went out of their way to offer reserving a restaurant for me. I can’t forget to also mention that they allow you to leave your bags with them before and AFTER your stay, which made my trip a lot more convenient. Would without a doubt stay with them again in a heartbeat.

This property operates like a hotel with a front desk, so you can expect hotel-level cleanliness and service—just without on-site restaurants. The room was squeaky clean, and housekeeping came every 2–3 days to refresh bed sheets and towels, which was appreciated. The location is a bit of a walk from Kyoto Station. You can use an underground passage partway, but note there’s no elevator at the exit, so it’s tricky if you have heavy luggage. A nice touch was the free umbrellas and instant coffee and green tea packs available at the front desk — both were surprisingly good. Overall, a comfortable stay with reliable housekeeping. We would definitely stay here again.

Close to the Gion district, the accommodation matched the description perfectly, if not better. Also perfect for short or longer stays.

Recomiendo ampliamente este hospedaje, a demás de estar lleno de arte y ser muy lindo, los anfitriones son muy amables, me hicieron recomendaciones del barrio, lo cual hizo que mi experiencia en Kyoto fuera muy diferente y mucho más íntima, las instalaciones están muy bien y en todo momento hay buena comunicación. Gracias ! Sin duda volveré 🙏🏽

너무 좋았습니다. 기회가 된다면 다시 방문하고 싶습니다. 다만 역이랑 조금 거리가 있습니다. 도시 자체가 6시를 넘어가면 식사할 곳이 많이 없습니다. 미플 근처에 회전 초밥집이 늦게까지 하고 맛있었습니다.

We really enjoyed our time at this stay. The balcony is private and the rooftop is shared. There is also a courtyard area on the first floor. There were also added amenities like free coffee, tea, and some fruit on the first floor.

今回初めて利用させていただきました。民泊形式、Airbnbからの予約ともに全く経験がなく不安でしたが、予約時も宿泊前も迅速丁寧なご対応で、安心してスムーズに到着し入室することができました。 京都駅までのバス（16番）停がすぐ近くにあり便利かつ京都駅から何とか歩ける立地です。ホテルは住宅街にあり、大通り側は二重窓で室内は静かな環境でした。 お部屋の清潔さ、ゴミの回収、一階ロビーのサロンとコーヒー、屋上の洗濯機とベンチなど随所にオーナーさんのお心づかいを感じました。 機会があればまたお世話になりたいお宿でした。オーナーさんにお礼を申し上げます。この度はありがとうございました。

Absolutely stunning experience, with Hash always being around and available, the building itself is a incredible merge between a historic hotel and our very own Airbnb! Spent great time with friends at the place and would highly recommend to all bigger groups that would like to stay in a quieter corner of Kyoto.

Wir hatten zwei sehr schöne Nächte in der Unterkunft. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war sehr gut und wir konnten früher einchecken. Das Apartment hatte für vier Personen ordentlich Platz.

Geweldig verblijf gehad: vriendelijke hostess die met alles wilde helpen. Mooie locatie om alles van Kyoto te kunnen bekijken. En een prachtige kamer, ik zou hier zeker weer terug komen bij een volgende reis!

We had an awesome stay at Lan's place. The concierge was very friendly and helpful. We really appreciated having access to bicycles and would highly recommend a bike ride in the area. Our room had a private washer/dryer but we also made use of the rooftop appliences and drying rack. The beds were super comfortable and it's a very quiet area to catch up on sleep after a lot of walking. We would absolutely stay here again.
