After living in Sweden and New Zealand, I returned to Japan and, together with my husband Andy, took over a cabin that was just one month away from being demolished. This is a small, cute log house that was built 40 years ago. It is a facility suitable for barbecues. There is a large tree, and the dappled sunlight is pleasant! ★ We do not accept guests who dislike insects. There are always stinkbugs and other insects depending on the season. We do not accept complaints about insects. ◽︎ We will explain how to use the facilities on-site at check-in. ◽︎ Please bring your own tissues and paper towels. Shampoo, body soap, toothbrushes, bath towels, and face towels are provided for the number of guests. We do not provide cutlery for small children. 　This 300-tsubo rental villa is limited to one group per day and is surrounded by nature at the foot of the Hakusan Ski Resort in the Lake West area of Shiga Prefecture. In winter, spend the day with a warm wood stove. Firewood is available free of charge, mainly sawtooth oak and beech. We will carefully explain how to use the stove at check-in. Please use it with peace of mind. 　On the south side of the villa, you can spend a quiet time with a hammock and bench in the sawtooth oak forest.
